DECEMBER 2011

On 12/01/11, Brooklawn Police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a female shoplifter in custody.  LouAnn Fisher of the 700 block of West Red Bank Ave West Deptford, NJ was observed by Shop Rite Loss Prevention concealing $15.17 worth of various items upon her person.  Additionally, Fisher, who was an employee of Shop Rite at the time of the shoplifting, was charged with multiple counts of Theft after she was alleged to have accepted items for return at the Customer Service Counter and pocketed the money.  Fisher brought to police headquarters where she was processed and released with a pending municipal court appearance. 

On 12/03/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a male shoplifter in custody.  Joseph A. Murray of the 300 block of Lincoln Ave Mt. Ephraim, NJ concealed various food items upon his person and attempted leave the store without payment.  The total dollar value of the food items was $31.88.  Murray was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons with a pending municipal court appearance. 

On 12/03/11, police initiated a motor vehicle stop at the East Traffic Circle.  Maura E. Laggy of East Olive Street Westville, NJ was found to have active warrants for her arrest totaling $1,215.00 full cash bail.  Laggy was transported to headquarters and was released after posting partial bail.   

On 12/4/2011, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of store employees struggling with a shoplifting suspect.  Upon arrival police observed the male suspect, later identified as Robert Santiago of the 500 block of West Collings Road Collingswood, NJ, being held down by employees after having attempted to flee the store with various food items totaling $48.56, along with a female co-conspirator, identified as Alyssa M. Cobb of the 200 block of South Broadway Gloucester City, NJ.  Both Santiago and Cobb were placed under arrest and transported to Brooklawn Police Headquarters.  Santiago was charged with Robbery 1ct, Assault with Bodily Injury 1ct, and Criminal Mischief 1ct, and was remanded to the Camden County Jail to await hearing in lieu of $25,000 full cash bail.  Cobb was charged with Shoplifting 1ct, and released pending a court appearance date to be set.  The manager of Shop Rite suffered minor injury and his glasses were damaged during the struggle. 

On 12/4/2011, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a criminal mischief.  The victim stated while she was inside of Shop Rite unknown person(s) shattered the side rear passenger window of her mini-van.  No entry appeared to have been made into the vehicle.  There are no known witnesses or suspects identified at this time.  Cost of repair was estimated at $100.00. 

On 12/04/11, police received a report of a stolen BMX bicycle from the 300 block of New Jersey Road.  Sometime during the overnight hours unknown person(s) removed the bike from the front porch of the residence.  The bike is described as a 20 inch-black in color-BMX style bicycle-Unknown manufacturer valued at $175.00. 

On 12/05/2011, police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifting in progress.  Upon arrival police were given a description of Black Male in his mid 20’s, Medium Build, approx. 5’10” tall, wearing a puffy jacket and blue hooded sweatshirt.  The male fled on foot towards neighboring Bellmawr.  A check of the area for the suspect revealed negative results.  However, the suspect dropped the proceeds of the shoplifting, a Conair Haircutting Kit valued at $10.00.  The kit was returned to Rite Aid after being evaluated for evidentiary value.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 12/05/2011, officers observed Eric A. Ulak of the 200 block of Browning Lane Brooklawn, NJ in the area of his residence.  Ulak was known to have active warrants for his arrest totaling $3,123.00 full cash bail.  He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and remanded to the county jail in default to awaiting a hearing. 

On 12/09/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Lawrence J. Fialkowski of Union Ave Bellmawr, NJ was observed by Shop Rite Loss Prevention attempting to leave the store with a Kureg Coffee Maker valued at $119.99 without providing payment for the item.  Fialkowski was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance.

On 12/10/11, police observed a male staggering in the area of Haakon Road.  Raymond Santiago Jr of Park Drive Bellmawr, NJ was found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued by Voorhees Twp Police.  Accused was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and ROR’d with a future court appearance date.

On 12/15/11, police received a report from Virginia State Police of a possible fugitive from justice residing in the 400 block of Crescent Blvd.  Douglas J. Garzon age 43 was placed under arrest and brought to police headquarters for processing.  Garzon was a fugitive from justice for failing to register as a sex offender.  Garzon was remanded to the Camden County Jail to await extradition to Virginia where the charges originated.

 On 12/16/11, police responded to the unit block of Third Street in an attempt to apprehend a suspect with outstanding warrants for her arrest.  Melissa D. Montalvo age 24 was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.  Montalvo had outstanding warrants for her arrest totaling $1,215.00 issued by Mount Ephraim and West Deptford Twp.  Montalvo was processed and released after posting bail.

 On 12/23/11, police responded to the Payless Shoe Store located within the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a report of a shoplifting in progress.  Police apprehended Raymond E. Dill of the unit block of Lane Ave Gloucester City, NJ a short distance from Payless when he was identified by management as the suspect who committed the shoplifting.  Proceeds were a pair of boots valued at $54.99 and were found in Dill’s possession when he was apprehended.  Dill was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance. 

On 12/24/11, Brooklawn Police received a report of a theft of cargo from the rear of an open back trailer.  The victim stated he parked his trailer in the rear of the old Kmart store located within the Brooklawn Shopping Center on or about 12/21/11.  When he returned to check on the trailer on 12/24 he noticed the cargo, described as Aluminum mechanical bridgeboards, missing.  A total of eight boards were removed which are valued at $300.00 each.  Investigation is ongoing.  Note:  It is illegal to leave your vehicle (i.e. tractor-trailer, personal vehicle, ect.) parked within the lot of the Kmart or anywhere within the shopping center overnight unless your vehicle is disabled. 

On 12/26/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Warren D. Manning of the 400 block of Chestnut Street Brooklawn, NJ was observed by loss prevention attempting to conceal $74.00 worth of food items upon his person and leave without payment for said items.  Manning was transported to headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons with a pending municipal court date.

NOVEMBER 2011

On 11/01/11, police responded to the Taco Bell restaurant located within the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a report of damage to a vehicle.  An unknown vehicle struck the passenger side of a 2010 Chevy Malibu, White in color.  The victim stated she had just picked up her vehicle from the dealership from being serviced, so it is unknown if the vehicle was struck while parked in the lot of the Taco Bell or was damaged at the dealership.  Investigation is ongoing… 

On 11/02/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Karen A. Reilley, age 46, of Kings Hwy, Swedesboro, NJ, was observed concealing make-up products upon her person for a total dollar amount of $27.31.  Reilley was brought to police headquarters where she was processed and released on a summons with a pending municipal court appearance date. 

On 11/03/11, police responded to the West Traffic Circle located at Rt.130 south and New Broadway.  While conducting an investigation of the accident, one of the driver’s involved, identified as Shaquera R. Jasper, age 19, of Chestnut Lane, Westville, NJ, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest for $215.00 full cash bail.  Jasper was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a municipal court date. 

On 11/5/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of shoplifter in custody.  Kristie A. Stuart, age 32, of Doerrmann Drive, Mickleton, NJ, was observed by Shop Rite loss prevention to have consumed a single soda for which she failed to pay for.  Stuart was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance date. 

On 11/05/11, officers responded to the Cash for Gold Store located on Rt. 130 Northbound.  Upon arrival, police found the front door of the building shattered, as it appeared unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry.  A check of the interior of the building for any suspects was negative.  Per management, nothing appeared to be missing even though several drawers were pulled open and left ajar.  Video surveillance footage was being reviewed as the investigation is ongoing.

On 11/07/11, police responded to OneMain Financial, located within the Brooklawn shopping center.  Upon arrival, the branch manager stated that sometime between 11/04/11-11/07/11, unknown person(s) entered the building via the rear door and tossed several items around the office.  Some desk drawers were pried open and numerous sets of keys strew about, however, nothing of value is kept in the office and nothing appeared to have been taken per the manager.  Investigation is ongoing… 

On 11/07/11, officers responded to the Brooklawn Food Mart located at Third Ave and Browning Road for a report of a shoplifting.  Nicholas V. Amicone, age 23,, of Brooklawn Court Apartments 301 Browning Road, was observed concealing two candy bars valued at $1.78.  Amicone was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance date. 

On 11/08/11, police responded to the Citgo Gas Station located at Rt.130 Southbound for a report of theft of gasoline.  Upon arrival, the attendant advised an unknown white male, with a white female passenger received $30.00 worth of gas and fled south onto Rt. 130 without payment.  The vehicle was described as a newer model silver sports car without any license plates.  Investigation to be continued… 

On 11/11/11, police assisted Gloucester City PD on an alarm call at the C.W. Clark Dealership located at Rt.130 Northbound.  After checking the immediate area with negative results, Brooklawn Police observed the front window smashed at the BP Gas Station located at Rt.130 and Kings Hwy.  It did not appear that entry had been made and nothing appeared to be missing, which was confirmed when the owner arrived on scene.  Fingerprints were lifted from a glass pane, which was intact, and the investigation is ongoing.  Damage was estimated at $6,000.00. 

On 11/11/11, police affected a motor vehicle stop within the East Traffic Circle.  Upon further investigation, the driver, Jasmine M. Pickens, age 24, of Crown Point Road, Westville, NJ was found to have active warrants for her arrest totaling $1,195.00.  Pickens was brought to Brooklawn Police headquarters where she was processed and released with pending municipal court appearance date(s). 

On 11/13/11, police responded to the Radio Shack Store located within the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a report of a shoplifting.  Management advised that two unknown black males removed a Magic Jack telephone device, valued at $69.99 and fled without payment.  A check of the area was negative.  Investigation is ongoing… 

On 11/12/11, officers affected a motor vehicle stop on New Broadway in Brooklawn.  The driver, identified as Joseph D. Carpenter, age 46, of Bergen Street, Gloucester City, NJ, was stopped for numerous motor vehicle violations.  Additionally, Carpenter was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for $500.00 issued by Pennsauken PD.  Carpenter was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a municipal court date. 

On 11/10/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a theft of a purse.  An employee of Shop Rite reported that during her break, a fellow employee, Miles G. Babbitt, age 18 of Cordelia Ave, Westville, NJ, had rummaged through her purse and removed $42.00 cash, a camera, and her New Jersey driver’s license.  Video of the break room revealed Babbitt had removed items from the victim’s purse, as well as another employee’s purse.  Further investigation revealed Babbitt had gone from department to department within Shop Rite removing items prior to being fired.  Shop Rite terminated Babbitt and charges are pending further investigation.

On 11/15/11, Brooklawn Police assisted Haddon Township police who were investigating a series of Smash-and-Grab Burglaries.  Haddon Township had developed information that the suspects were currently residing in a room located at the Days Inn Hotel, Brooklawn, located at Rt.130 south.  Subsequent investigation positively identified the suspects as the actor(s) involved in the smash-and-grabs.  Blaze L. Hollingworth, age 20, of Woodwedge Drive, Charlotte, NC and Harold Carter , age 20, of Edgemere Court, Erial, NJ were taken into custody and charged with numerous offenses including weapons possession.  Haddon Twp Police is conducting all further investigation. 

On 11/15/11, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Citgo Gas Station located on Rt. 130 southbound.  The attendant stated two white males wearing all black robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash at gunpoint.  It was reported the males displayed a small silver handgun.  The suspects fled on foot westbound on Horton Ave.  A check of the immediate area was negative.  However, assisting Gloucester City Det. Carl Depoder and Ofc. O’Donnell advised they had two subjects fitting that description.  Both suspects were transported to police headquarters and provided statements admitting their involvement after having been advised of their rights under Miranda.  Both suspects were remanded to the Camden County Correctional Faculty on $100,000 full cash bail each while awaiting a CJP date.  

On 11/18/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifting in progress. While en route, police were advised two white females fled the store in possession of Red Bull Energy Drinks and fled in a sand colored Chevy Impala bearing NJ registration VTV-31F, last seen heading northbound onto Rt. 130.  A “Pick up and Hold” was broadcast for the vehicle and the suspects.  The registration came back to a Woodlynne address.  Woodlynne PD went to the address and took the two females into custody.  Both suspects were transported to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where they were processed and released on a summons with a pending municipal court date. 

On 11/27/11, a resident came to Brooklawn Police Headquarters to report a theft of movable property.  The victim, of the 300 block of Delaware Street, reported that several items of jewelry, prescription medication, and some cash have been stolen from her home during an unspecified time period.  The victim suspects it may be persons that stay with her from time to time.  The total value of the items taken is $3,490.00.  Investigation is ongoing… 

On 11/28/11, police responded to Brown’s Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifting.  While en route, responding officers were advised an off-duty officer was in foot pursuit of the suspect(s).  The suspect could not be located after the off-duty officer lost sight of the suspect. However, the proceeds (which were $84.00 worth of Baby Formula) was located lying between houses on Alcyon Drive in Bellmawr.  Investigation to be continued… 

On 11/28/11, police responded to the 100 block of Sixth Street for a report of a burglary to a vehicle.  The victim reports that when he attempted to leave for work at 8:30am on this date, he observed his vehicle had been entered sometime during the overnight hours.  Loose change and a $20.00 bill were removed from the vehicle.  There were no signs of forced entry, and the owner stated he believed he had forgotten to lock the doors the prior evening.

On 11/29/11, a victim reported to police she had left her pocketbook on the rear floor of her vehicle while she went into the Dollar Tree located within the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  After returning to her vehicle, the victim realized her purse was missing.  The victim stated her vehicle was secure and there did not appear to be any forced entry.  Investigation is ongoing. 

On 11/29/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the BP Gas Station for a report of a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, the owner of the BP advised police that he observed a male, later identified as the suspect, Heath J. Ricco, age 37, of Victory Drive Bellmawr, NJ, enter into his vehicle, which was parked within the lot of the BP station.  When the owner confronted Ricco, a struggle ensued, and the victim struck the suspect in the head with an object causing a large laceration on the suspect’s head.  The suspect entered into a Ford Bronco Tan in color and fled the scene.  A short time later, assisting Bellmawr Pd units located the vehicle and the suspect and he was taken into custody.  After receiving medical treatment for the laceration to his head, Ricco was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Faculty in default of the $50,000.00 full cash bail.

On 11/30/11, police affected a motor vehicle stop on the lot of the Red Carpet Inn located at Rt. 130 northbound.  Further investigation found the operator Larry N. Fussell Jr., age 25 of Shetland Way, Westville, NJ, to have two active warrants for his arrest totaling $2,058.00 full cash bail.  Fussell was issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended and was able to post bond for the active warrants.

All subjects should be considered innocent until proven guilty.

OCTOBER 2011

 On 10/1/11, an unknown male, described as heavy set, wearing black clothing and a ski mask displayed a black handgun to the attendant at the Citgo Gas Station located on Rt.130 South.  The service station attendant ran from the suspect and jumped into a customer’s vehicle, where he called police.  The suspect fled on foot heading West on Horton Ave.  No proceeds were taken and there were no reported injuries.  Investigation is ongoing.  

 While conducting an investigation of a suspicious person in the area of Timber Blvd, police located a male, later identified as Joshua L. Walston of Willingboro, NJ.  Further investigation found Walston to have active warrants for his arrest totaling $4,100.00.  Walston was remanded to the Camden County Jail in default.

 On 10/02/11, police responded to the Hess Gas Station located at the East Traffic Circle for a report of a robbery.  John F. Monk of Lakehurst Ave., National Park, NJ had removed four bags of potato chips without payment.  When the attendant attempted to stop Monk, he is alleged to have threatened the attendant by stating he had a weapon (gun) in his possession.  Monk was apprehended behind Westbrook Bowling Lanes and brought to police headquarters, where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail on a charge of Robbery.

 On 10/09/11, police responded to the Citgo Gas Station for an activation of a silent hold-up alarm.  Upon arrival, the attendant stated a white male had pulled to the pump and requested $20.00 worth of fuel.  After receiving the gas, the attendant went to collect payment.  While awaiting payment, the attendant noticed the male was not attempting to retrieve any money, however, he was trying to start his car.  The attendant reached into the vehicle in an attempt to prevent the male from starting the vehicle, but was unsuccessful, at which time the male rolled up the window of the vehicle partially trapping the arm of the attendant as the suspect began to drive away.  The attendant had to physically run with the moving vehicle for a short distance to avoid being dragged before finally freeing his arm.  The attendant suffered a minor cut and bruise to his elbow from falling after freeing his arm, but refused medical treatment.  There was no description of the vehicle at this time.  Investigation is ongoing.

 On 10/10/11, Police responded to the Rite-Aid Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifting.  Upon arrival police were provided with a physical description of the actor, as well as a description of a Red in color Ford F-150 Pickup truck bearing NJ registration ZUY-17Z, in which the actor fled.  An unknown white female driver reportedly operated the vehicle.  A check of the area for the suspect(s) was negative results.  However, after reviewing the video surveillance tape police identified the actor as Bruce W. Wenner of Lakehurst Ave., National Park, NJ.  Charges are being issued for Wenner’s arrest for Shoplifting.  Proceeds were various over-the-counter medications with an unknown dollar amount.

 On 10/10/1,1 police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a report of the theft of a motor vehicle.  The victim, an employee of Shop Rite, stated he parked his car at approximately 1:50pm on this date.  After finishing his shift at 9:30pm, he exited the store and noticed his vehicle was missing.  The description of the vehicle is a 1994 Grey in color Toyota Camry, NJ registration VTZ-68H.  Note: On 10/11/11 the vehicle was recovered by Bellmawr Police in the Bellmawr Manor Apartment Complex.  The owner arrived on scene and took custody of the vehicle.  There are no suspects identified at this time.

 On 10/13/11, Rite-Aid Pharmacy reported a shoplifting of two DVD players that had occurred.  Rite-Aid management reported a light skinned black male fled the store with the DVD players in an unknown direction.  Police are awaiting video surveillance footage, as the investigation is ongoing.

 On 10/15/11, police responded to the Days Inn Hotel for a report of Theft.  The victim stated a female friend had taken her prescription for Percocet to a pharmacy in Camden City and filled the prescription without her knowledge or consent, keeping the medication from the victim.  After speaking with both parties, police could not confirm the victim’s story.  However, the victim was advised of her right to sign complaints against the accused.  At the time of this report, no charges have been signed.

 On 10/16/11, police responded to the 100 block of Second Street for a report of criminal mischief.  A neighbor reported that the victim’s were away on vacation, however, the neighbor noticed the mirror on the vacationing neighbor’s mini-van had been knocked off the vehicle sometime during the overnight hours.  The mirror did not appear as to have been struck by another vehicle, and appears was knocked from the vehicle by some other means.  Damage was estimated at $100.00.

 On 10/17/11, police responded to the Citgo Gas Station for a report of a person attempting to pass counterfeit currency.  After further investigation it was determined the customer was not aware of the money being counterfeit and agreed to return to the Citgo with full payment for the gas received.  The customer stated they had received the $20.00 bill as change at the WaWa in Woodbury, NJ.

 On 10/20/11, police responded to the Metro Diner for a report of a found burglary and theft.  Sometime during the early morning hours between 12 am Thursday morning and 3pm Thursday afternoon, unknown person(s) pried open an outside door and entered the office area within the Metro Diner.  Once in the office, the unknown actor(s) removed an unknown amount of US currency.  Investigation is ongoing…

 On 10/24/11, police observed Poindexter O Brown of Browning Lane, Brooklawn, NJ, in the area of Browning Lane.  Brown was known to have active warrants for his arrest issued by Brooklawn, Camden City, and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.  Brown was arrested on these active warrants and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Faculty.

 On 10/24/11, Brooklawn Police received a report at headquarters of a stolen vehicle.  The victim reports that his 1995 Jeep Wrangler, red in color, NJ registration ZZL-29W was stolen from the lot of CJ’s Auto body located at the East Traffic Circle.  The owner of CJ’s had last noticed the vehicle on the lot on 10/21/11.  He contacted the victim to see whether the victim may have picked up his vehicle when he noticed it was missing.  When it was determined that the vehicle had been stolen, the victim came to police headquarters to file a report.  The Jeep was entered into NCIC, and as the date of this report has yet to be recovered.

 Police responded to the Gulf Gas Station located on Browning Road and Kings Hwy in Brooklawn on 10/25/11 for report of the theft of gasoline.  Unknown suspect(s), driving a white two-door late model Honda Civic, received $58.00 worth of Premium gas and drove off heading southbound onto Kings Hwy.  The vehicle had unknown PA registration.

 On 10/26/11, police responded to the Citgo Gas Station for a report of theft of gasoline.  An unknown female received $35.00 worth of gas and fled without payment.  No make or model of the vehicle was available at the time of this report.  Investigation is ongoing.

 Police responded to the Shop Rite Store on 10/26/11 for a report of shoplifter in custody.  Ronald J Jones, of St. Mary’s Street Burlington, NJ, was observed by loss prevention concealing various food items worth $7.58 upon his person.  He was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons with a mandatory court appearance date.

 On 10/28/11, police responded to Lipkins Pharmacy located at Broadway and Town Center for a report of alarm activation.  Upon arrival, police observed the rear door of the business ajar.  It appears that unknown actor(s) gained entry into the building by prying the rear door.  However, after entering the building the alarm activated which may have forced the suspect(s) to flee.  Per to owner of the Pharmacy, nothing appeared to be disturbed.  Investigation is ongoing…

 A resident of Building #5, Brooklawn Court Apartments, Browning Road, Brooklawn, NJ, reported on 10/29/11 unknown person(s) threw a rock threw his window.  No person(s) were observed in the area, and there were no reported injuries.  Cost of repair was estimated at $50.00.

Police responded to Ray-Bets Liquors, New Broadway, Brooklawn, for a report of a shoplifting.  On 10/29/11, the employees of the liquor store reported a white male wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with an orange logo on the back, had taken three bottles of liquor and fled the store without payment.  It was reported the male entered a silver pick up truck with an unknown NJ registration (tag not on file) and tinted windows.  The vehicle fled in an unknown direction and could not be located by responding officers.  Total dollar value of items taken was $155.78.

On 10/30/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a reported shoplifting.  Christopher J. Hunger of South Broadway, Gloucester City, NJ; Olivia G. Klatt of New Friendship Road, Howell, NJ, and Christopher J. Jernegan of Crown Point Road, Westville, NJ, were identified as suspects in the shoplifting of $274.00 of Red Bull Energy Drinks and two bags of chips.  Hunger and Klatt were arrested at the scene after being involved in a minor motor vehicle crash on the lot of the Shop Rite.  Jernegan fled prior to police arrival, but was identified through further investigation.  Hunger and Klatt were processed and released with a pending CJP court date.  Charges against Jernegan are filed and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

 

AUGUST 2011

 

On 8/01/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the 200 block of Paris Avenue for a reported Burglary.  The resident reported that upon returning home from work on this same date they observed the residence had been burglarized.  Entry appeared to have been made through the rear door of the residence, and numerous items of jewelry had been taken.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 8/01/11, Brooklawn Police responded to 117 Browning Lane for a report of a suspicious person trespassing and knocking on the resident’s front door.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Mark Jerry Mason of Bellmawr, NJ had trespassed on the resident’s property and was knocking on the front door requesting money.  Mason had previously been warned by the resident, as well as police not to trespass on the property, and was observed on a home video surveillance system identifying Mason as the suspect.  Mason fled prior to police arrival at the residence.  He was charged with Defiant Trespass and issued the summons via US Mail with a mandatory court appearance date within the Borough of Brooklawn.

On 8/02/11, while on patrol, police observed a verbal argument taking place between a male, later identified as Joseph M. Moser, and an unknown female on the corner of Broadway and Town Center Roads.  Further investigation by police found Moser to have active warrants for his arrest totaling $1,134.00 full cash bail.  Moser was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Faculty in default of the cash bail.

On 8/03/11, officers responded to the Shop Rite Store parking lot for a report of a Robbery.  Further investigation revealed the suspect, later identified as Daniel R. Elcess of Turnersville, NJ along with his girlfriend identified as Amy Tonkinson of Turnersville, NJ had taken a purse from a female victim.  Subsequent investigation found the suspect had committed a “purse snatching” and was apprehended by officers as he was fleeing the scene.  Elcess was positively identified as the suspect by the victim at the scene, and Elcess later provided a taped statement admitting his role in the theft after having been provided his rights under Miranda.  He was transported to police headquarters where he was additionally found to be a Wanted Person by the United States Armed Forces as he was reported to be AWOL.  Elcess was remanded to the CCCF in default of $50,000 full cash bail after having been charged with Robbery.  Further investigation found Tonkinson to have active warrants for her arrest.  She was processed and released after posting bail.

On 08/03/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the 100 block of Pershing Road for a report of persons smoking CDS within a motor vehicle.  The vehicle described as a Red in color Honda, was observed to be driving past responding officers without any headlights activated in the area of Timber Blvd, which intersects with Pershing Road.  After affecting a motor vehicle stop and approaching the vehicle, officers detected the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.  Subsequent investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, identified as Elise J. Stein of Westville Grove, NJ, was found to be in possession of CDS Marijuana under 50 grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS within a motor vehicle, and was issued motor vehicle summonses.  Stein was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

On 08/08/11, the resident of Delaware Street came to Brooklawn Police Headquarters to report that her home had been burglarized earlier on this same date.  The resident and her two children were at home when an unknown white male, thin, and bald opened the door to one of the children’s bedrooms.  Upon observing the child the male fled from the residence in an unknown direction.  The resident noted there was nothing missing from the residence and that is why she did not report it right away.  She was convinced to report the incident after discussing it with a friend.  Police processed the scene along with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and are awaiting results for possible suspect identification.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 08/09/11, police affected a motor vehicle stop.  Through further investigation the operator of the vehicle, identified as William M. Bard of Bridgeton, NJ was found to have active warrants for his arrest totaling $1,139.00 full cash bail.  Bard was brought to headquarters where he posted partial bail and was released.  Bard issued motor vehicle summons as well.

On 08/09/11, police responded to the Rita Aid Pharmacy for a report of a Shoplifting.  An unknown white male entered the Rite Aid and fled with assorted over-the-counter medications valued at $100.00.  Police have obtained a video of the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

On 08/23/11, police responded to Webers Drive-In located at 310 Crescent Blvd (Rt.130 North) for a report of a found Burglary.  The owner of Webers arrived to find that the second floor window of the rear building had been breached, and entry had been made.  The owner determined nothing was missing, and nothing of value is kept on the property to be taken.  There are no known suspects at this time.

On 08/13/11, police affected a motor vehicle stop of a suspected intoxicated driver.  After having performed poorly on field sobriety tests and detecting the odor of an alcoholic beverage upon his breath, the driver, identified as Raymond G. Vincent of Camden, NJ was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to police headquarters for processing.  His vehicle was impounded in accordance with the law, and after processing Vincent was released into the custody and care of another.  Vincent was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses with a pending municipal court appearance date.

On 08/13/11, police responded to a report of suspicious person in the area of Ray-Bets Liquors located in the 100 block of New Broadway.  Police located the described male, identified as James C. McMakin of Bellmawr, NJ.  McMakin was found to have active warrants out of three different counties totaling $3,915.00 full cash bail.  After being processed at police headquarters, Brooklawn Police met up with New Jersey State Police to turned McMakin over for questioning in a matter NJSP were investigating.

On 08/16/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a female shoplifter in custody.  Sheryl L. Covely of Atco, NJ, attempted to leave the Shop Rite without payment for $160.59 worth of various food items.  Covely was brought to police headquarters, processed and charged with Theft.  Covely was released on a summons pending a court appearance date.

On 08/16/11, police responded to 327 Bergen Street for report of a found Burglary.  The resident reported that after returning home from a short trip to the store, she noticed a number of window screens within her residence were pushed inward.  At this time the victim did not believe entry had been made, nor did she notice any items missing.  However, on 08/17/11 the victim contacted police and noticed that a Gucci wristwatch and a bottle of prescription medication had been taken.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 08/17/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for report of a shoplifter in custody.  James R. Way of Mt. Ephraim, NJ attempted to leave the store after concealing $23.95 worth of energy drinks.  Way was brought to headquarters where he was processed and released on summons with a charge of Shoplifting, pending a municipal court appearance date.

On 08/23/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for report of a male shoplifter in custody.  Charles Maselko of Woodbury, NJ age 90 concealed a tube of BenGay valued at $11.88 upon his person and attempted to leave the store without payment for the item.  Maselko was charged and released on summons pending a municipal court appearance date.

On 08/24/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a reported of two female shoplifters in custody.  Ashley L. Jones of Clementon, NJ and Maggie A. Brown of Camden, NJ concealed a total of $49.00 worth of various food items within shopping bags and attempted to leave the store without payment.  Both suspects were brought to police headquarters where they were charged with Theft and released on summonses pending a municipal court date.

On 08/24/11, police responded to the Rite Aid for reported theft.  An unknown white male suspect removed an electronic remote television controller valued at $50.00 and fled the store.  Police are attempting to identify the suspect via video, and the investigation is ongoing. 

On 08/26/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for a report of a female shoplifter in custody.  Leeanne J. Aikins of National Park, NJ attempted to leave the store with $229.50 worth of baby formula.  Aikins was brought to police headquarters for processing where she was charged with Shoplifting of the fourth degree, and was released pending a hearing at CJP at the Hall of Justice in Camden, NJ.

On 08/26/11, police responded to an assist ambulance call. While attempting to secure the victim, Norma Reyes, to the gurney for transport, Reyes became combative with ambulance personnel and assaulted one of the EMT’s by punching him in the eye, causing a fracture of his orbital bone.  Reyes was transported to the hospital after being secured by police and was subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault of Medical Personnel for the assault of the EMT.  Reyes was mailed the summons via US Mail to await a CJP hearing.

On 08/30/11, police responded to the Shop Rite Store for report of a juvenile shoplifter in custody.  After securing the juvenile shoplifter police learned that an adult male, later identified as Stephen C. Hennessey of 8 Woolwich, NJ, had promised payment to the juvenile female if she committed the act of shoplifting.  Hennessey was positively identified by the juvenile and he was placed under arrest.  Both parties were transported to police headquarters.  Hennessy was charged with Theft and Conspiracy to commit theft.  The juvenile female was entered into the Station House/Community Service Program as a first time offender.  Both parties were released after processing, with the juvenile released into the custody of her mother.  Proceeds were $22.76 worth of over-the-counter medication.

On 08/30/11, police responded to 219 Bergen Street for report of a found Burglary.  Sometime during the daytime hours, unknown actor(s) entered the residence and removed electronic equipment.  A suspect has been developed in this case, however the investigation is currently ongoing.  Total dollar value of the items taken is $920.00.

On 08/31/11, police responded to the Brooklawn Fire Company East Side Fire House for a report of Theft.  Sometime between 08/30/11 and 08/31/11, unknown actor(s) entered the fire house and removed US currency and coins from the candy machine.  The lock securing the machine had been cut off.  Investigation is ongoing.

 

JULY 2011

 

On 7/1/2001, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite Supermarket for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Mario Tomasetto-age 41 of 225 Elm Street Westville, NJ was found to be in possession of a box of razor blades valued at $25.00.  Tomasetto was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons with a pending municipal court appearance date within Brooklawn Municipal Court.

On 07/02/11, Brooklawn Police, along with numerous assisting units from neighboring municipalities, responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located within the Brooklawn Shopping Ctr for a report of a bank robbery.  Upon police arrival, it was learned the suspect had demanded money and fled.  A description of the suspect and suspect vehicle were broadcast.  Officer Danielle Perna of the Mt. Ephraim police department initiated a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle and driver matching the suspect description.  Through witness identification, the suspect was positively identified as Christopher Eric Edwards-age 40 of #25 West Park Ave Lindenwold, NJ.  Edwards was brought to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where Edwards was charged with Robbery, processed, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Faculty to await a hearing.

On 07/02/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy located on Browning Road in Brooklawn for a report of shoplifting.  Initially, police were unable to locate the suspect.  On 7/3/11 Brooklawn Police assisted Bellmawr PD in a foot pursuit of a suspect in the area of Creek Road and Devenney Drive in Bellmawr.  After apprehending the suspect in Bellmawr, it was learned through investigation this same suspect may have been the actor in the shoplifting the previous day at Rite Aid.  A review of the security video at Rite Aid confirmed the identity of the suspect as Paul J. Smith- age 44, of 789 Devenney Drive Bellmawr,NJ as the actor in the shoplifting at Rite Aid.  Smith had shoplifted various items totaling $100.00.  Smith was issued a summons prior to him being transported to the Camden County Jail for the charges stemming from the incident in Bellmawr.  Smith has a pending Brooklawn Municipal Court date.

On 7/2/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Giovanni Richard Pillitteri- age 25, of 124 West Browning Road Bellmawr, NJ was charged with shoplifting $23.46 worth of various food items.  He was brought to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on summons with a pending Brookawn Municipal Court appearance date.

On 7/2/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter n custody.  Patricia Jean Duffy- age 46, of 15 Junior Ave Bellmawr, NJ was charged with shoplifting $5.69 worth of over-the-counter medicine.  Duffy was brought to police headquarters where she was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/2/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Matthew John Thomas Michael- age 35, of 401 Kaighns Ave Camden, NJ was charged with shoplifting $11.98 worth of over-the-counter medicine.  He was brought to police headquarters where he was processed and released on summons pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/2/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Hess Gas Station for report of theft of gasoline.  A female suspect driving a 1999 Ford Explorer Red in color had received $30.00 worth of fuel then drove off without payment.  It was learned through investigation this same female, using the same vehicle, had committed an act of theft of gasoline at the Gulf Gas Station located at Browning Road and Kings Hwy within Brooklawn on May 29th, 2011, also for $30.00.  The suspect was subsequently identified as Kelly L. Rainer-age 29, of 29C Roosevelt Ave Paulsboro, NJ.  Rainer was also found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license.  Rainer was charged with Two Counts of Theft of Services and numerous motor vehicle violations. 

On 7/3/11, Brooklawn Police responded to a report of a house fire at 508 Paris Ave within the Borough of Brooklawn.  Upon arrival, police observed smoke pouring out of the first floor windows of the residence.  It was unknown if the home was occupied at this time.  Fearing for the safety of occupants that may still be inside, Office J. Mason of the Brooklawn Pd, and assisting Gloucester City Pd Officer William Johnson Jr, entered the residence.  One of occupants was found within the home and was later transported to Cooper Trauma with smoke inhailation.  Officer Mason was able to extinguish the fire prior to fire department arrival with a fire extinguisher from his patrol vehicle.  There were no other reported injuries and damage was confined to this home.  The cause of the fire was still under investigation at the time of this report.

On 7/4/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Frank Charles Gilfillan-age 37, of 924 Gaunt Street in Gloucester City, NJ was charged with shoplifting $18.72 worth various food and over-the-counter meds.  He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/5/11, Brooklawn Police were summoned to the Dunkin Donuts for a report of a disturbance.  Upon arrival management pointed out a female, later identified as Courtney Marie Heard age 22 of 348 Ridgeway St. Gloucester City, NJ, as the person causing the disturbance.  While investigating the disturbance Heard was asked for identification.  While removing the identification from her purse Heard removed a package of cigarettes which had a packet of what appeared to be CDS Heroin attached to the outside of the cigarettes.  Subsequent investigation found that Heard had just injected other Heroin within the bathroom of the Dunkin Donuts.  Heard was found to have additional CDS rock-cocaine concealed upon her person after having been placed under arrest.  Heard was brought to police headquarters where she was charged with possession of CDS (2 Counts), and possession of drug paraphernalia (1 court).  She was released on a summons to await a hearing at CJP.

On 7/8/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Gulf Gas Station at Kings Hwy and Browning Roads for a report of a theft.  This theft originally occurred on 7/6/11, when a white female with blonde hair had reached over the counter and removed a book of lottery scratch off tickets valued at $245.00.  This female was accompanied by a white male with brown hair.  On 7/8/11 the two suspects returned to the Gulf Station and the manager activated the silent hold-up alarm.  The suspects had fled prior to police arrival in a green sedan.  A pick-up and hold for the vehicle and description of the suspect(s) was broadcast.  A short time later Gloucester City Police Officer Saunders stopped a vehicle fitting that description.  Subsequent investigation identified the two occupants of the vehicle as the suspects in the theft.  Nicholas Brian Smith age 24, of 77 Girard Ave Erial, NJ and Kimberly Marie Barger age 21, of 1101 Cumberland Ave Deptford Twp, NJ were each charged with one count of theft.  Both suspects were transported to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where they were processed and released with a pending CJP hearing date.  Smith was turned over to Gloucester City Police for another matter.

On 7/8/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Nadeem Sarwar was charged with shoplifting $93.23 worth of 5-Hour Energy Drinks and Red Bull.  He was additionally found to have active warrants out of Camden City totaling $1,250.00.  Sarwar was processed and released on a summons to await a municipal court appearance date for Brooklawn Municipal Court.  Camden City ror’d Sarwar on their active warrants.

On 7/9/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for report of a shoplifting in progress.  Thomas Mallet Jr. Age 29, 116 Troy Ave Bellmawr, NJ had removed a self grip bandage from its wrapper and concealed it in his pocket.  Mallet was brought to police headquarters where he was charged with theft and released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/9/11, Brooklawn Police initiated a motor vehicle stop.  Subsequent investigation found Daniel G. Young age 40, of 6 Cherry Grove Lane Sicklerville, NJ was found to have active warrants totaling $1,265.00.  Young was placed under arrest for the active warrants and was transported to Brooklawn PD headquarters for processing.  Young was released after posting $500.00 bail.  Young was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended. 

On 7/12/11, police observed Jehanh Nabil Abdullah Mohmod age 23, of 303 Crescent Blvd Brooklawn, NJ, walking in the area of Creek Road in Brooklawn.  Mohmod was known to have active warrants for her arrest and was stopped for such.  After being placed under arrest for the warrants, Mohmod was found to be in possession of CDS Marijuana less than 50 grams.  Mohmod was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail to awaiting hearing.

On 7/12/11, Brooklawn Police received a report of a male-unconscious, and seated behind the wheel of a motor vehicle within the parking lot of Westbrook Bowling Lanes, located at Creek and Old Salem Roads within the Borough of Brooklawn.  Jason William Mack was found to be in possession of CDS within a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Mack was placed under arrest and transported to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with the CDS and paraphernalia offences.  Mack was also issued a motor vehicle summons,   and his vehicle was impounded.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 7/13/11, Brooklawn Police responded to Westbrook Bowling Lanes for report of a disturbance/medical emergency.  Further investigation found Albert George Baxter III age 38, of 70 Forrest Drive Pennsville, NJ to be causing a disturbance and was under the influence of CDS which he had just ingested.  Baxter refused medical treatment.  Baxter was placed under arrest for causing the disturbance and was subsequently found to be an NCIC Hit out of the Salem County Prosecutors Office for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.  Baxter was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail to await transport and hearing in Salem County. 

On 7/15/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Jennifer Ann Mosser age 28, 4314 Tuckahoe Road Williamstown, NJ was charged with shoplifting $144.17 worth of various food items from the store.  Mosser was further found to be an NCIC Hit out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Dept. for an active $5,000.00 warrant.  Mosser was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Jail to await hearing.

On 7/16/11, Brooklawn Police responded to Josephina’s Deli located at Browning Road and 6th Ave within Brooklawn.  Sometime during the overnight hours unknown actor(s) attempted to break in to the business by partially breaking out a window and pulling back metal trimming for the window.  It did not appear entry had been made and there did not appear to be any further damage to the property.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 7/16/11, Brooklawn Police responded to a motor vehicle crash located at the Rt.130 East Traffic Circle.  Kathryn Victoria Heinsman age 23, of 209 Avon Road Cherry Hill, NJ was placed under arrest for suspicion of operating while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Heinsman was transported to Brooklawn Police Headquarters where she was charged with DWI, Careless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane.  Heinsman’s vehicle was impounded pursuant to law, and she was released into the custody of an acquaintance after processing.  Heinsman was issued the listed motor vehicle summons with a pending municipal court date.  There were no reported injuries at the scene of the crash.  Heinsman’s vehicle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

On 7/16/11, Brooklawn Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Rt.130 East Traffic Circle.  Eric John Waddington age 32, of 19 Plow Point Road Pennsville, NJ, and his passenger, Matthew Toal age 30, of 17 Fort Sumpter Road Pennsville, NJ were found to be transporting a nitrous oxide bottle within a motor vehicle without a permit.  Waddington was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Toxic Chemical, Unlawful Shipping of a Hazardous Material, and was issued numerous motor vehicle summonses.  Toal and Waddington were both charged with Disturbing the Peace and Good Order when they were found to have been initially providing false information to police.  Both suspects were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released pending a court hearing.

On 7/16/11, Brooklawn Police were summoned to the Shop Rite for report of a shoplifter in custody.  Robert Moore age 33, of 329 Union Ave Bellmawr, NJ was found to have switched the price tags on food items totaling $7.00.  Moore was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with shoplifting, processed and released pending a municipal court appearance date.

On 7/16/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Deborah Ann Harrington ag3 45, of 81 Deerfield Drive Bridgeton, NJ was charged with theft of $65.65 worth of various food items.  Harrington was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/19/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifter that just fled the store.  The suspect, identified as Nadeem Sarwar through security video, (See Shop Rite shoplifting involving the same suspect on 7/8/11), was found walking north bound on Rt.130 behind Advanced Auto Zone within the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  Sarwar had removed $90.00 worth of 5-Hour Energy Drinks from the Rite Aid, which he still had within his possession when detained by police.  Sarwar was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing.  Sarwar was released with a pending municipal court appearance date.

On 7/19/11, Anthony Michael Lope 4th age 29 (unknown address) was stopped for suspicious activity in the area of the 500 block of Chestnut Street in Brooklawn by police; along with an unidentified male. Lope was found to be in possession of Burglary Tools, and was placed under arrest for such.  Lope was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons with a pending CJP court date.  The other male was found to have no involvement in the matter, and was released at the scene. 

On 7/21/11, Brooklawn Police responded to report of disturbance within the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  Joseph Russel Monteith age 28 of 191 Ambler St. Westville, NJ was found to be the cause of the disturbance.  Monteith was found to have numerous active warrants for his arrest totaling $3,491.00.  Monteith was placed under arrest and transported to Camden City Police where he was wanted by their municipality on the majority of the warrants.

On 7/22/11, Anna Theresa Wherrity age 36 of 600 Market Street Camden, NJ was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting after police were summoned to the Rite Aid Pharmacy.  Wherrity had fled the store prior to police arrival, but was apprehended by assisting Bellmawr PD units on Kings Hwy.  Wherrity was placed under arrest for shoplifting $115.66 worth of make-up products.  Wherrity was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/27/11, Brooklawn Police responded to the Brooklawn Court Apartments located on Browning Road in Brooklawn for a report of a theft.  Sometime between 7/1/11 and 7/27/11 unknown suspect(s) removed two aluminum bicycle racks from the rear of the 301 and 501 buildings.  The bike racks were valued at $500.00 each.  Investigation is ongoing.

On 7/27/11, Brooklawn Police responded to Shop Rite for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Jamie Lynn Dailey age 35, of 923 Birch Ave Gloucester City, NJ was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting $17.67 worth of various food items.  Dailey was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

On 7/29/11, Brooklawn Police responded to report of a found Burglary at 15B Brooklawn Court Apartments.  Sometime on 7/29/11 between noon and 5:30pm, unknown suspect(s) used some type of prying tool to pry open the front door of the apartment.  However, the victims/occupants of the residence stated that nothing appeared to be neither missing nor disturbed.

On 7/30/11, Brooklawn Police responded to 308 Haakon Road for a report of criminal mischief.  The resident stated sometime during the overnight hours [unknown actor(s)] had damaged her vehicle by smashing out the driver’s side window.  The owner confirmed that nothing from the vehicle was missing and it did not appear entry had been made.  Estimated cost of repair $100.00.

 

JUNE 2011

 

On 06/02/11 - James Francis Clarke, 23, of Logan Twp, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to have an active warrant.  He was transported back to headquarters, processed and released pending a new court date.

 

On 06/04/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Brooklawn American Legion for a report of a large fight in the parking lot.  Multiple other departments responded for assistance as the fight was still escalating.  After stopping the fight and calming the situation down, three people were transported to the hospital for injuries.  At this point in time the investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending on three suspects thought to be involved in the fight.  Anyone with information regarding the incident contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 06/12/11 - Gregory Francis Salerno, 21, of Berlin, attempted to conceal over-the-counter medication from the Shop Rite Supermarket.  He was arrested and transported back to headquarters where through further investigation was found to have an active warrant out of Moorestown.  He was processed and then turned over to Moorestown PD.

 

On 06/12/11 - Diane Theresa Glennan, 38, of Brooklawn, was arrested for disturbing the peace and good order while in the Shop Rite Supermarket.  The accused was brought to headquarters, processed and released pending a court date.

 

On 06/13/11 - Alberto Martinez, 27, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was transported back to headquarters were he was processed and released pending new court dates.

 

On 06/15/11 - Mark Anthony Collins Jr., 23, of Philadelphia, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation the suspect was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  The accused was brought back to headquarters where he was processed and released to a sober adult.

 

On 06/19/11 - at 4:18am, an unknown suspect threw a large rock through the front window of Ray Bets Liquor Store on New Broadway.  No one was seen entering or exiting the store.  Two cartons of Newport Cigarettes were taken from the store.  Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 6/20/11 - Between the hours of 11:00am and 7:45pm, an unknown suspect(s) stole a blue Chevy Blazer (New Jersey Registration W68ADX) from the 200 block of Bergen Street.  Anyone with information regarding this case or the location of the vehicle should contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 6/23/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Days Inn on Route 130 for a report of a sexual offense.  The crime scene was secured and The Camden County Prosecutors Major Crime Unit was called out to assist in the investigation.  During the investigation, one of the two suspects was identified.  No identities are being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.  Anyone with information regarding this incident, contact Brooklawn Police or the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Major Crime Unit.

 

On 6/24/11 - Shannon Marie McCully, 31, of Clayton, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal $34.32 worth of items on her person.  She was brought back to headquarters, processed and released.

 

On 6/25/11 - Robert Stanley Ferringo, 54, of Pitman, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused removed a pack of razors from the box and placed them into his pockets.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released pending a court date.

 

On 6/26/11 - at approximately 10:57pm, officers were dispatched to the Days Inn for a loud party.  Upon further investigation, Tyler Daniel Petrik, 19, of Gloucester City, was arrested for possession marijuana.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released pending a court date.

 

On 6/30/11 - James Gerald Wilson, 21, of Bellmawr, was stopped for suspicious activity on West Browning Road through further investigation he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.  He was brought to headquarters processed and released with a new court date.

 

MAY 2011

 

On 5/2/11, Officers made a pedestrian stop of Damian Derek Scott, 29, of Bellmawr.  Upon further investigation, the suspect was found to have multiple active warrants.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and released.

 

On 5/9/11, Edward Charles Martyn, 31, of Pitman, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  The accused attempted to flee from his vehicle on foot.  After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended.  He was found to be driving while suspended and had multiple warrants for his arrest.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 5/9/11, Officers responded to the 100 block of New Broadway for a subject loitering around the businesses.  Joseph Sottie, 26, of Sewell, was arrested for having multiple warrants for his arrest.  Brought to headquarters, processed and release.

 

On 5/11/11, Steven David Robb Jr., 28, of Audubon Park, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  After further investigation, the subject was found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was brought back to headquarters where he was processed and released after posting partial bail.

 

On 5/14/11, Officers responded to 306 New Broadway for a report of a burglary in progress.  Carlos M. Rivera Jr., 30 of Thorofare, kicked the rear door of the residence in and then entered the residence.  The subject then fled the residence out the back door and left on a mountain bike.  After a brief chase, the subject was apprehended with the assistance of other agencies.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 5/15/11, Christina Anne Valenta, 27, of Bellmawr was observed by Shop Rite loss prevention shoplifting items.  Through further investigation, the subject was found to have an active warrant out for her arrest.  She was brought to headquarters, processed and released with new court dates.

 

On 5/15/11, Kristie Ann Stuart, 31, of Mickleton, was observed by Shop Rite loss prevention shoplifting items.  Through further investigation, the subject was found to have multiple active warrants for her arrest.  She was brought back to headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 5/15/11, John Phillip Massey was involved in a verbal altercation. After further investigation, the accused was found to have an active warrant out of Greenwich Twp.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and turned over to Greenwich Twp. Police.

 

On 5/20/11, Patricia J. Rough, 21, of Gloucester City, was involved in an altercation with Jermeal Curtis Walker, 23, of Williamstown.  Patricia became belligerent and disorderly and was visibly intoxicated.  After she refused to provide her information for the investigation, she was arrested for obstructing justice, Waker was arrested for possession of marijuana and for an active warrant.  Both parties were brought to headquarters, processed and released.

 

On 5/21/11, Officers responded to the rear of the Hess Gas Station for a report of a boat with four juveniles that capsized.  The boat, along with its passengers, had floated just behind the United Check Cashing.  All occupants of the boat were able to swim to the Westville side of the creek.  Ambulances arrived on scene to check the juveniles all were released on scene to their parents.

 

On 5/22/11, Sara Rene Robinson, 26, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  During the investigation, the subject was found to have active warrants for her arrest.  She was brought to headquarters, processed and released with new court dates.

 

On 5/22/11, Richard John Thomas, 54, of Wenonah, attempted to conceal items from the Rite Aid.  The subject exited the store and was apprehended shortly thereafter.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released.

 

On 5/24/11, Officers responded to the rear of the Advanced Auto Parts in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a report of a theft.  Sometime between the hours of 6:00pm and 6:00am, the Material Handling Supply Company was broken into and a Volvo-Roll Back Truck was taken.  The vehicle was found in the Advanced Auto parking lot.  Anyone with information regarding this incident, contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 5/25/11, Elizabeth Moore Kashow, 34, of Mullica Hill, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  During the course of the motor vehicle stop, the accused was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs.  She was brought back to headquarters, processed and release to a sober friend.

 

On 5/26/11, Dora Sue Campbell, 47, of Bellmawr, attempted to conceal items on her person from the Rite Aid Pharmacy.  The accused exited the store and was located at the nearby Shop Rite Supermarket.  She was brought back to headquarters, processed and released.

 

On 5/30/11, Lisa Marie Pakela, 25, of Blackwood, attempted to leave the Shop Rite without paying for items in the self check-out line.  She was brought back to headquarters, processed and released.

 

APRIL 2011

 

On 04/01/11, Robert Anthony Filer Jr., 20, of Bellmawr, was a passenger in a motor vehicle. Through further investigation, he was found to be in possession of marijuana packed in two plastic bags.  He was arrested for possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, brought to headquarters, processed and released with a court date.

 

On 4/3/11, Officers were dispatched to 111 S. Wilson Avenue for a theft that occurred sometime between 3/20/11-4/3/11.  An unknown actor removed a truck bed tool box and a plastic storage shed from the rear yard.  Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 04/03/11, Officers observed a white male on a bicycle along Rt. 130 near Clancy’s Restaurant attempting to remove copper wire from a PSE&G pole.  The suspect attempted to pry the wire away from the pole using a crow-bar.  The suspect was identified as Robert Moore Jr., 32, of Gloucester City.  During the investigation, the suspect admitted to numerous other thefts in Gloucester City.  He was processed and turned over to Gloucester City Detectives.

 

 On 04/07/11, Austin James Gallagher, 22, of Pitman, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the suspect was found to be operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.  He was transported back to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.

 

On 04/07/11, Officers were dispatched to the Brooklawn Diner for a report of a fight.  When they arrived on scene, they were meet by a male standing in the middle of the parking lot with his shirt off.  Aaron Michael Falls, 19, of Westville, was in an argument with a female in regards to a theft that occurred in Woodbury.  While officers were attempting to de-escalate the situation, Michael became boisterous and uncooperative.  He was placed under arrest for disturbing the peace.  He was transported to Headquarters and released pending a court date.

 

On 04/12/11, Heather Marie Cristinzio, 26, of Gloucester City, was arrested for robbery, aggravated assault and burglary in the Borough of Brooklawn.  The incident occurred on 3/21/11.  The suspect forced her way into a residence, then used her fists beat the resident in the head and face.  The suspect then removed cash and a cellular phone from the residence.  She was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 04/12/11, Evelyn Mellissa Shank, 30, of Pennsauken, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation, she was found have to numerous active warrants totaling $1,165.00.  She was processed and released after posting partial bail.

 

On 04/12/11, Officers were dispatched to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifting.  A black male, approximately 20-30 years old, 5’6”, wearing a grey zip hoodie jacket shoplifted multiple boxes of condoms and pregnancy tests.  He exited the store and got into the passengers seat of a silver van that fled towards Rt. 130.  After a search of the area, officers were unable to locate the vehicle.  Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Brooklawn Police.

 

On 04/14/11, Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite Supermarket for a report of harassment.  Philip George Badyna, 41, of Camden City, was panhandling and yelling obscenities at customers.  He was arrested for disturbing the peace.  He was processed and released with a court date.  He was informed that he was no longer allowed on the property per management.  The very next day, 4/15/11, the suspect was back outside the Shop Rite and he was arrested again, this time for defiant trespass.  He was again processed and released.

 

On 04/23/11, Officers were dispatched to the Rite Aid for a report of a shoplifting.  Two white females enter the store and filled up baskets.  They both attempted to exit the store with the items and the baskets.  One female dropped the basket while attempting to flee.  The basket contained her purse. Also, employees were able to get the vehicle’s registration number while they drove away.  Officers were able to identify both female suspects in the shoplifting.  Patricia Mary Mancuso, 29, of Burlington turned herself the next day she was processed and released.  Her accomplice, Jossette Disipio, 33, of Delanco, was mailed her summons.

 

On 04/24/11, Officers were dispatched to Shop Rite for a robbery.  Brian Applegate, 28, of Bellmawr, forcibly took the victim's purse from her and fled the scene.  The suspect left the purse and the money behind at the scene.  When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene on foot.  After a brief search of the area, the suspect was located on King’s Highway in Mt. Ephraim.  The suspect was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 04/25/11, Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite for a shoplifter in custody.  Joseph Raymond Guagliardo, 31, of Westville, attempted to conceal numerous food items upon his person.  He was processed and released with a court date.

 

On 04/27/11, Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite for a shoplifter in custody.  Edward Pratt, 43, of Gloucester City, attempted to conceal drink mixes on his person.  The suspect was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

On 04/28/11, Linda Liberto, 54, of Woodbury, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation, the suspect was found to have multiple warrants for her arrest.  She was processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Jail.

 

MARCH 2011

 

On 3/01/11 Officers responded to 301 Browning Road for a male trespassing in the basement.  Herbert Rodgers Sr., 40, was found on location.  Herbert was warned numerous times not to enter the building, as he was already evicted from the apartment building.  He was arrested, processed and released with a court date.

On 3/02/11 Officers received a call for an erratic driver in the area of Rt. 130 and Browning Rd.  Officers found the vehicle matching the description on the Taco Bell parking lot.  Through further investigation, the driver Edward Robert Benner, 27, of Verga, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was processed and released.

On 3/09/11 Melissa Dawn Tunnicliffe, 26, of Westville was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the suspect was found to have multiple warrants for her arrest.  She was processed and released after posting partial bail.

On 3/10/11 Officers responded to a call for an erratic driver traveling south on Rt. 130.  The vehicle was last seen pulling into the Days Inn Motel.  Officers found the vehicle matching the description in the parking lot.  Through further investigation, both the driver, Joshua Raymond Harris, 25, of Blackwood, and passenger ,Daniel Thomas Tyan, 25, of Sewell ,were found to be in possession of heroin.  They were both brought back to headquarters processed and released.

On 3/14/11 Kelvin Jeffery Williams, 21, of Pennsauken was arrested for having numerous outstanding warrants.  He was brought to headquarters, were he was released after posting partial bail.                       

On 3/18/11 Officers responded to Clancy’s Pub for a report of a fight. While on scene, Charles Eugene West, 32, of East Greenwich and Joseph Carl DiRocco 52, of Westville became irate and would not listen to police instructions.  Both suspects were placed under arrest for disturbing the peace.

On 3/22/11 Officers were dispatched to the Red Carpet Inn for a report of a theft.  Tara Nicole Ramer, 20, of Williamstown, was accused of attempting to remove a laptop from a room at the motel.  During the investigation, she was found to be in possession of the laptop.  She was brought to headquarters, processed and released.

On 3/24/11 between the hours of 6:00pm-6:30pm, an unknown male described as having brownish/dark hair, light tan skin (possibly Hispanic), dressed in dark clothing and standing next to a black sedan, attempted to lure a 7 year old female as she was crossing the intersection of Paris Ave. and Marne Rd.  A sketch provided by Lindenwold P.d. in a previous attempting luring was positively identified by the victim as the same actor in this incident.  Should anyone have any contact with this subject and/or any information, please contact Brooklawn Police.

On 3/25/11 Officers responded to the United Check Cashing for a report of a fraudulent check.  After speaking with the suspect, it was determined that the suspect in the case was involved in an Internet scam that involved a mystery shopper.  The suspect was e-mailed a United States Postal Money Order. When the suspect went to cash the money order, it was found to be fraudulent.  If anyone has been in contact by a similar email, please contact the Brooklawn Police.

On 3/25/11 Vito Mannino, 23, of Deptford entered the Payless Shoe Store and assaulted the clerk.  He then forced the all employees to go into the back room.  He then smashed the cash register, taking the cash draw and fled on foot.  The suspect was quickly located and placed under arrest.  He was brought to headquarters processed and remanded to Camden County Jail.

On 3/28/11 Anthony Michael Lope 3rd, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, he was found to have active warrants.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

On 3/28/11 Toby Daniel Richardson, 32, of Gibbstown was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for suspicious activity in the rear parking lot of the Brooklawn Diner.  Upon further investigation, the suspect was found to have a warrant out for his arrest.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and released.

 

FEBRUARY 2011
 


02/03/11 - Officers were dispatched to the United Check Cashing on Creek Road for a report of a female and a male attempting to pass bad checks. Jennifer Renee Clinton, 23, of Westville and Marquell Duncan, 22, of Philadelphia were attempting to cash checks that they knew were fraudulent. The employee at the United Check Cashing locked the two suspects in the lobby and waited for police to arrive. Through further investigation and the assistance of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, two other suspects were identified. Nicholas Wilder, 27, and Andre Cannedy, 23, both of Philadelphia were arrested after initially fleeing the scene. Multiple charges were filed against all four suspects.

02/05/11 - Officers were dispatched to the BP Gas Station for an alarm. Once on scene, officers saw the front door window smashed out. When they entered, they found the accused, Travis Robert Habina, 24, of Mt. Laurel, locked inside the cashier office by an employee of the gas station. He was placed under arrest without further incident. He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

02/08/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite in Brooklawn for a shoplifter in custody. When officers arrived on scene, they met with the Loss Prevention Officer who stated that the suspect fought with him once confronted about the shoplifting. The L.P.O. was able to handcuff the suspect behind his back. Once the L.P.O. attempted to retrieve the items that were shoplifted, the accused ran out the front door. He was last seen in the area of Rite Aid Pharmacy. Anyone with information regarding this case should contact Brooklawn Police.

02/09/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Browning Road for a shoplifting that had just occurred and the suspects had fled the store. While attempting to locate the suspects, officers stopped a Nicole Michelle Payne, 25, of Wenonah, who was walking on Rt. 130 North with an unidentified male. Once officers were able to catch up to the female, the male was no longer in the area. The female was brought back to the Rite Aid where she was positively identified as the one who actually shoplifted. She was placed under arrest, processed and released.

02/10/11 - Timothy Joseph Ruscansky, 24, of Sicklerville, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation, the accused was found be under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drug. He was placed under arrest, processed and released to a sober adult.

02/10/11 - Christopher Adam Hondros, 29, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. The accused was also found to be in possession of cocaine in his pocket. He was placed under arrest, processed and released.

02/12/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite Supermarket in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a male shoplifting. Daryle Eugene Dismukes was arrested for attempting to conceal $188.64 worth of over-the-counter cough medicine in two blue shopping bags. He was processed and released with a court date.

02/14/11 - An unknown actor entered a residence in the 400 block of New Broadway. The resident left at 6:30pm and was home by 7:30pm. It appeared that the actor enter through a window that had an air conditioner in it. The actor loosened the air conditioner and entered the residence. At this time the only item that was known to be taken was a laptop computer valued at $500.00. Residents are reminded to make sure all doors and windows are locked and secure when leaving their homes and also to report any suspicious activity or people to the police.

02/15/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Shopping Center parking lot for a report of a male “shooting up” in a vehicle. When they arrived, the accused, Brian Richard Sharp, 30, of Bridgeton, was sitting in the passenger’s side of a vehicle with an uncapped syringe next to him. He was arrested and taken back to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.

02/16/11 - Brian Gregory Quinn, 33, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, the vehicle was found to stolen. Brian was then placed under arrest and brought back to police headquarters, processed and released.

02/16/11 - Officers were dispatched to the Shop Rite Supermarket in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a shoplifter fleeing the store. The suspect Joseph Henry Bender, 26, of Gibbstown, was apprehended in rear of the building. He was brought to headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

02/25/11 - Officers observed a male running out the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Browning Road. The male shoplifted from the store. After a brief foot pursuit,, the suspect was apprehended on the Metro Diner Parking Lot. The accused Gordon Lester Laxton, III, 39, of Pennsville, was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was brought back to headquarters, processed and turned over to Woodbury Police for warrants.

 

JANUARY 2011

 

On January 1, 2011, two separate incidents where officers were dispatched to different addresses for reports of burglaries; one on New Broadway and the other on Bergen Street.  If anyone has any information on either one of these incidents, contact Brooklawn Police.  Residents should be aware and make sure to lock all doors to their homes and vehicles.

On January 1, 2011, a vehicle was stolen from the Red Carpet Inn in Brooklawn.  The vehicle was located in Oaklyn on January 8, 2011.  The victim was contacted and his vehicle was returned to him.

On January 4, 2011, officers were dispatched to the Hess Gas Station for a report of theft.  A silver Ford Focus had left the gas station without payment. The vehicle was last seen on Route 130 traveling northbound.

On January 5, 2011, officers responded to the Shop Rite Supermarket in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a reported shoplifting.  KENNETH LONDELL THOMAS, 44, of Gloucester City, attempted to shoplift $231.03 worth of merchandise.  He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released.

On January 7, 2011, officers responded to the Shop Rite Supermarket in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a reported shoplifting.  KEITH ALLEN BURMYLO, 42, of Gloucester City, attempted to conceal $32.19 worth of merchandise.  Through further investigation, he was also found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was transported to police headquarters, processed and given multiple court dates.

On January 8, 2011, officers responded to the Westbrook Bowling Alley for a report of a large fight.  Officers from multiple agencies responded.  ALBERT ELIJAH DIAZ JR., 19, of Pennsauken, was arrested for disturbing the peace after he refused to listen to officer’s instructions.  He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released.

On January 12, 2011, ROBERT LEE WILLAIMS, 50, of Merchantville, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the suspect was found to have a warrant out for his arrest.  He was transported back to police headquarters, processed a given a new court date. 

On January 15, 2011, officers were dispatched to 306 New Broadway for a person trespassing.  BERNARD ROBERT MORAD, JR., 34, of Gloucester City, was told by police not to return to the residence during a number of previous encounters.  He was arrested on scene and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released with a court date.

On January 16, 2011, CLIFFORD JAMES MARTIN 3RD, 26, of Brooklawn was arrested at the Red Carpet Inn for multiple burglaries that he committed in Brooklawn and other area towns.  The suspect was transported to police headquarters, processed and received multiple charges.

On January 16, 2011, there was a large disturbance at 327 Bergen Street. Multiple agencies responded.  During the investigation, JESSICA LEE DORAN, 25, of Mantua became very irate and disorderly; not listening to any officers commands.  She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, processed and released.

On January 20, 2011, officers responded to 306 New Broadway for a fight.  KERRIN NICOLE TOBIN, 22, of Palmyra, was involved in a physical altercation with her cousin at that address.  She was arrested for simple assault, brought to police headquarters, processed and released with a court date. 

On January 22, 2011, officers responded to the Shop Rite Supermarket in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a shoplifter.  The accused, ALEXANDER BRIAN PETERS, 23, of Gloucester City, was arrested for attempting to conceal $27.99 worth of razors on his person.  Through further investigation, he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.  He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released on partial bail.

On January 23, 2011, officers responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for the report of a shoplifter.  The accused, JERMAINE ALLEN WILLIAMS, 31, of Paulsboro, attempted to conceal two MP3 players valued at $79.98.  He then fled the store and after a brief foot pursuit, was apprehended by police.  He was transported back to police headquarters, where he was found to have an active warrant.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

 

DECEMBER 2010

12/2/10 - JOSHUA ALLEN FORD, 28, of Gloucester City, was involved in a verbal altercation.  Upon police arrival, the accused remained disorderly and was placed under arrest.  The accused was found to be a wanted person by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

12/4/10 - MICHAEL GENE STOUT, 31, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting at the Rite Aid in Brooklawn.  The accused was brought back to police headquarters where he was processed and charged with this and other shopliftings he had committed from the Rite Aid Pharmacy.  He was released with his court dates.

12/4/10 - Officer’s were dispatched to Verchio’s Produce for an alarm activation.  Upon arrival, officer’s found the rear door pried open. A search of the business and the area where negative.  The surveillance video was able to produce a description of a white male wearing a black eagles coat, black pants, black boots, and black gloves enter the business.  The suspect stole approximately $600.00 in cash and coins.  Anyone with information regarding this case, contact the Brooklawn Police.

12/7/10 - Officer’s were dispatched to the Wachovia Bank in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a report of an armed robbery.  Two males entered the bank; one jumped the counter while the other “stood guard” just inside the lobby.  The two males were wearing all black clothing and had ski masks covering all but their eyes.  The two males then exited the bank and fled in a sliver colored Volkswagon Jetta with New Jersey license plates.  Multiple agencies responded to the scene.  The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Route 130.  Anyone with information regarding this case, contact Brooklawn Police, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office or the FBI.

12/8/10 - STEVEN PHILIP MUND, 27, of Brooklawn, was stopped by an officer for having an active warrant out of Camden City.  Through further investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of CDS.  He was processed and released with multiple court dates.

12/8/10 - DENISE JEAN GAFFNEY, 50, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting from the Rite Aid in Brooklawn.  The suspect concealed merchandise valued at $4.99.  She was processed and released.

12/11/10 - RICHARD FRANCIS BRESCH 3RD, 27, of Brooklawn, was stopped by an officer behind the Brooklawn Court Apartments for suspicious activity. Through further investigation, the accused was found to have a warrant out for his arrest.  He was processed and posted partial bail.

12/14/10 - DEBORAH CARISLE, 42, of Runnemede, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the driver was found to have active warrants for her arrest.  The accused was processed and released with new court dates.

12/17/10 - RAYMOND EDWARD FETZER, 55, of Gloucester City, while waiting for an ambulance to respond for another person, did interfere and failed to obey instructions.  He was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.  He was processed and released.

12/17/10 - KARLA DENISE DEAN, 43, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting after she attempted to conceal items from the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  She was processed and released.

12/17/10 - TIFFANY LOUISE WHITE, 29, of Camden, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation was found to driving while intoxicated.  The accused was processed and released to a sober adult. 

12/17/10 - GREG EUGENE BRANCH, 29, of W. Collingswood, was a passenger in a motor that was stopped for a violation.  During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of a crack pipe.  The accused was arrested, processed and released.

12/19/10 - JENNIFER JOANNE THOMPSON, 25, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to have active arrest warrants.  She was processed and released after she posted partial bail.

12/21/10 - Officer’s responded to the Cash for Gold for a report of a strong-arm robbery.  Two males entered the business; 1 remained by the door while the other jumped a table and slammed the employee through the wall.  Multiple agencies responded.  The two suspects were last seen walking north on Route 130.  Camden County Sheriff’s Officer responded with a K-9 and a search of the area produced a negative result.  Anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Brooklawn Police.

12/23/10 - MATTHEW FRANCIS DEPALMA, 28, of National Park, was stopped for panhandling out front of the Dunkin’ Donuts.  Through further investigation was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles.  The accused was processed and released.

12/23/10 - Officer’s responded to the Brooklawn Food Mart for an alarm, once on scene, officer’s were informed by residence that the store had been burglarized.  Witnesses were awoke by the alarm stated that a male got into a vehicle and headed east on Browning Road.  A search of the area produced negative results for a male or any vehicle.  After viewing the surveillance video the male used a crow bar and pried open the front door, jumped the counter and removed cash from two registers.  The male was wearing a black jacket; black pants black gloves and a gray hat.  Anyone with information regarding the incident contact the Brooklawn Police.

12/24/10 - DESHAWN LAMONT EVANS, 33, of Camden was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation was found to have an active warrant.  The accused was processed and released with new court dates.

12/24/10 - MICHAEL JAMES VOGEL, 46, of Westville was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal merchandise valued at $16.65.  He was processed and released with a court date.

12/27/10 - Officer’s were dispatched to the Gulf Gas Station that for a shoplifting that was not in progress.  Video surveillance of the incident shows a white male between the age of 30-40, approximately 5’7”-5’9” and 250lbs.  Wearing eyeglasses with balding brown hair.  The suspect asked for a carton Newport Cigarettes, and once they were placed on the counter the suspect grabbed them and fled the store into his vehicle that was still running in the parking lot.  Anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Brooklawn Police.

12/30/10 - MATTHEW STEPHEN KLOTZ, 21, of West Deptford, was extremely intoxicated while loitering in the rear of 200 block of Broadway.  He was arrested for disturbing the peace.  The accused was processed and transported to the hospital.

 

NOVEMBER 2010

 

On 11/2/10, a shoplifting occurred at the Rite Aid on Browning Rd.  A Hispanic male walked in and concealed 5 cartons of cigarettes under his clothing. He fled out of the store using the rear door.  Anyone with information involving this incident should contact Brooklawn Police.

On 11/3/10, on the Metro Diner Parking Lot, a vehicle’s passengers side window was smashed out and items removed from the vehicle.  At this time there is no suspects in the case. Anyone having any information in the incident, contact the Brooklawn Police.

On 11/5/10, while on a motor vehicle stop, Joseph Michael Daniels was found to have an active warrant.  He was brought to headquarters, where he posted full bail and was released.

On 11/5/10, the accused, George Anthony Gray was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to have multiple warrants.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and released with new court dates.

On 11/8/10, officers responded to the Rite Aid for a report of shoplifting.  A white male, short hair with a goatee, blue jean jacket and blue jeans, had conceal items within his jacket.  The suspect exited the store using the side door.  It is believed this suspect is responsible for multiple shopliftings from the Rite Aid. Anyone with information about the incidence, contact the Brooklawn Police Department.

On 11/12/10, officers were dispatched to the Days Inn for a report of an overdose.  Officers arrived to find Ashley Helen Gable on the floor.  After the paramedics administered Narcan into her system, she regained consciousness.  She was then transported to Underwood Memorial Hospital.  After being discharged from the hospital, she was brought back to headquarters, processed and released with a court date.

On 11/7/10, an officer was flagged down on the Shop Rite parking lot for a male that was in the store attempting to shoplift.  The suspect exited the store. The officer told the suspect to stop, and at that point the suspect immediately began to run.  The officer then pursued on foot.  Numerous other units responded to assist, and the suspect was quickly taken into custody. Michael Edward Schultz, of Woodbury, was arrested for shoplifting and resisting arrest.  He was processed and released.

On 11/11/10, Douglas Spencer Overman, of Deptford was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to be operating a vehicle while under the influence.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and turned over to a sober adult.

On 11/16/10, Patrick Michael Fay, of Glendora was arrested in Gloucester Township.  Mr. Fay was wanted by this agency for multiple burglaries and thefts that occurred in October.  An officer met with a Gloucester Township officer and took the suspect into custody.  He was processed and remanded into the Camden County Jail.

On 11/18/10, Bradley Mease, of Gibbstown was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further review, the accused was for to be operating the vehicle while under the influence.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.

On 11/18/10, James Edward Freas Jr., of Pennsville, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation, the accused was found to be in possession of multiple bags of cocaine.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released with a court date.

On 11/20/10, Amy Beth Miller was involved in a single vehicle motor vehicle accident.  The vehicle was traveling north on New Broadway when the driver struck a telephone pole and then also come into contact with a parked vehicle.  Both driver and passenger sustained injuries and were taken to Underwood Memorial Hospital.  The driver was charged with driving a vehicle while being under the influence.

On 11/21/10, officers were dispatched to the East Traffic Circle on U.S. Route 130 for a report of a female unconscious in a vehicle.  The female, who was identified as Lauren Lewis of Mantua, was involved in a motor vehicle accident and continued to drive until she passed out at the East Circle.  Through the officers investigation, she was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle.  She was transported to Underwood Hospital and charges were mailed to her residence.

On 11/27/10, Arthur Christian Wimer, of Philadelphia, was observed concealing merchandise from the Rite Aid.  The suspect also had active warrants.He was brought to headquarters, processed and released with multiple court dates.

On 11/27/10, Adam Dale Williams, of Camden City, was observed concealing merchandise from the Rite Aid.  He was brought to headquarters, processed and released with a court date.

On 11/28/10, an unknown Hispanic male about five foot six inches tall, clean shaven and wearing a black hoodie riding a boys twenty inch spray painted black bicycle, rode up to the victim while she was walking on Rt. 130 by the Red Carpet Motel.  The suspect asked to victim for some money. When the victim went into her pocket to get it, the suspect grabbed a hat off of the victim’s head. The suspect then stated “Give me all your money or I will cut you.”  No knife was shown to the victim.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Brooklawn Police. 

 

OCTOBER 2010

 

On Friday, October 1, 2010 a shoplifting occurred at the Rite Aid in Brooklawn. Two unidentified males entered the store, one white; the other black. Both men took baskets and loaded them with items.  The black male exited the store to the rear at the same time the white male exited the store at the front entrance.  The two males entered the same vehicle that was parked on the side of the building and fled south on King’s Highway.  A search of the area produced negative results.  Anyone with information involving this incident, please contact the Brooklawn Police

On Saturday, October 2, 2010 officers responded to the Red Carpet Inn for a report of a stolen vehicle.  When they arrived, they spoke with the victim, Christain Varquesz, who stated that he picked up a female (who he only knew as Julie) from a bar the night before.  The victim was then taken to the hospital after making comments to officers that he wanted to harm himself.  The vehicle was found by Camden Police later that night.  Anyone with information regarding this case please, contact Brooklawn Police.

10/03/10 - TIFFANY NATON GALLOWAY, 31, of Woodbury, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through the investigation the suspect was found to have multiple warrants, she was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

10/05/10 - NICOLE ALYSSA FELDMAN, 21, of Westville, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal a pair of socks, underwear, and make-up total value being $31.00.  She was processed and released pending a court date.

10/07/10 - ROBBIE ALLEN BROWN, 39, of Woodbury, and ASHLEY HELEN GABLE, 28, of Runnemede were involved in a motor vehicle accident.  Upon further investigation Robbie was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle.  Ashley swallowed several pills that were taken out of a prescription bottle without label on it when the officers approached the vehicle.  Both parties were processed and released.

10/08/10 - SCOTT THOMAS HOWELL, JR., 35, of Clayton, was found unconscious in a vehicle in the Gaetano’s parking lot, with 10 tablets of Xannax in his lap, and two bags containing a substance believed to be heroin with a hypodermic needle in plain view.  He was processed and released with a court date.

On 10/08/10, officers responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of a shoplifting.  An unknown white female entered the store and stated that she had been thrown out of a moving van and needed to use the phone.  She then suddenly ran down one of the aisles and removed an assortment of items from the shelves, stuffing them in her pants.  She then ran out the front of the store into a waiting pickup truck described as a dark blue older model with black ladder racks.  Anyone with information about this incident or the vehicle, contact the Brooklawn Police.

10/10/10 - PHILP GEORGE BADYNA, 41, of Bellmawr, was arrested for making multiple calls to 911, which he knew were false.  Accused stated that someone in the Days Inn Motel was attempting suicide, which he knew was not true.  He was processed and released with a court date.

10/12/10 - JOSEPH ROBERT KOZLOWSKI, 39, of Turnersville and ERWIN FREDERICK BOYD, 37, of Pennsauken, were arrested for shoplifting at the Rite Aid Pharmacy. Erwin entered the store while Joseph, the get-a-way driver, stayed in the vehicle outside.  Erwin exited the store with multiple items totaling $156.19.  The vehicle was observed fleeing the store by Bellmawr Detectives and the vehicle was stopped on Interstate 76.  All the items were recovered the two were processed and released pending court.

10/13/10 - WANDA LATRELL BROWN, 48, of Pennsauken, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite Supermarket.  She attempted the conceal $121.41 worth of baby formula in her purse.  She was processed and released with a court date.

10/13/10 - CRAIG DANIEL DEGAILLER JR., 21, of Brooklawn, was a suspect in multiple burglaries in town that occurred last month. Through investigation, warrants were issued for his arrest.  He was picked up in Mount Ephraim for the warrants, brought to the Brooklawn Police Station, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

10/18/10 - Multiple unlocked vehicles were broken into on the Brooklawn Diner parking lot.  A car stereo and a wallet were some of the items taken.  Anyone with information on the incidents, contact Brooklawn Police.  Remember to secure your vehicle doors when you exit…….even if it’s for a brief time. 

10/22/10 - JEFFERY JOSEPH JACUK, 47, of Medford, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation, he was found to be in possession of a control dangerous substance and a handgun.  He was processed and transported to an area hospital.

10/23/10 - DAVID MCKENZIE BARTON, IV, 31, of Clementon, was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle at the Days Inn Motel.  Officers spotted the vehicle in the lot and through a brief investigation, located the room the suspect was possibly staying.  The suspect, was also found to be a wanted person by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

10/26/10 - KEITH JOSEPH KARWOSKI, 30, of Mt. Ephraim, was arrested for shoplifting at the Rite Aid Pharmacy.  The accused attempted to conceal one bottle of Stacker 3 diet pills, valued $32.99.  The accused exited out the front door, throwing the pills behind a trash dumpster on the side of the building as he was chased by store employees.  He was located a short distance later by police.  He was processed and released with a court date.

10/29/10 - MARLENA IRENE BUTLER, 20, of Gloucester City, was arrest for shoplifting (under-ringing), at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused was observed by Loss Prevention under-ringing for an unknown customer.  The value of the merchandise totaled $597.10.  She was processed and released with a court date.

 

SEPTEMBER 2010



09/01/10 MICHAEL ANTHONY PRESTON, 23, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. When he gave the officer his driving credentials, a hypodermic needle was found in the paperwork. He was arrested for possession of a hypodermic needle and through further investigation the accused was also found to have an active warrant out of Gloucester Township. He was processed and released with new court dates.

09/01/10 DANIELLE ANGEL LEE BATTEN, 27, of Atco, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to switch her shoes with new ones from the store. She was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

09/02/10 CHARLES E. MINIX JR., 46, of Gibbstown, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and, or drugs. The accused was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

09/02/10 On the 100 block of Pennsylvania Ave police officers responded to a burglary call. An unknown person(s) entered a vehicle and removed numerous credit cards and cash. Anyone with information regarding this case should contact the Brooklawn Police. UPDATE: Arrests were made in this case.

09/03/10 On the 300 block of Paris Ave police responded to a burglary call. An unknown person(s) entered a vehicle and removed a GPS and a radar detector from a vehicle parked along the curb. Anyone with information regarding this case should contact the Brooklawn Police. UPDATE: Arrests were made in this case.

09/09/10 BRUCE WILLIAM PATTERSON, 37, of Clayton, was stopped for suspicious activity while parked in the Brooklawn Shopping Center parking lot. Upon further investigation the accused was found to be a wanted person out of the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department. He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail until transferred to Cape May County.

09/10/10 RICHARD WAYNE SEIVERD JR., 28, of Mt. Royal, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. The accused then provided police with false information and was through further investigation was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. He was processed and posted partial bail on an active warrant.

09/11/10 HERBERT JOSEPH RODGERS, 40, of Brooklawn, was arrested for drinking in public and panhandling for cigarettes on New Broadway. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.

09/13/10 TRAVIS ROBERT HABINA, 24, of Mt. Laurel, was arrested for theft. The accused used a TD Bank card, which he found. The accused made numerous purchases with the card and then discarded it in a trashcan. The accused was processed and released pending a Municipal Court Date.

09/15/10 ASEKIA CAMPBELL, 39, of Camden City, was at 306 New Broadway where police were dispatched to for a report of a disturbance. Through the investigation the accused was found to have two active warrants, the accused was also found to be in possession of a crack pipe. He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

09/16/10 SUSAN ERIN CRAM, 30, of Gloucester City, was staying in the Red Carpet Inn and was in possession of 20 empty viles of crack cocaine. Accused was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after admitting that the paraphernalia was hers. She was processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.

09/20/10 PETER ANTHONY LEUZZI JR., 43, of Philadelphia, was involved in a disturbance at the Days Inn and was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, after being found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle, and two crack pipes. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.

09/25/10 While fueling up a motorcycle at the B.P. Gas Station the motorcycle caught fire. Multiple other police departments assisted with traffic and all by-standers where evacuated from the area. The Brooklawn Fire Department arrived and quickly put out the fire. The owner of the motorcycle was treated at the scene, but did not suffer and major injuries.

09/27/10 MANFRED EDWARD NIEDZWIADEK JR., 23, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation he was found to have numerous active warrants. He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

09/30/10 ERIC ANTHONY ULAK, 27, of Brooklawn, was arrested for numerous outstanding warrants. He processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

AUGUST 2010



08/04/10 JOHN JULIUS GERGELY, 31, of Bellmawr was caught shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal $16.78 worth of merchandise. The accused also had an active warrant out of Lindenwold. He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

08/05/10 RICHARD AURTHER SHIPP, 35, of Westville was observed by K-Mart Loss Prevention removing items from the store totaling $1,289.98 from the store on 7/31/10. The accused was later apprehended by officers, processed and released on 08/05/10, with a Superior Court date.

08/05/10 YVETTE THORNTON, 45, of Philadelphia was observed by Shop Rite Security not scanning items through the self-scan lane. The accused failed to scan $91.18 worth of merchandise. She was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/05/10 LESLIE ANN TATE, 44, of Camden had her boyfriend enter her line while working at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center, with items totaling $374.96 and only charged him $17.63. The accused was charged with shoplifting (under ringing) processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/05/10 ROBERT JAMES MARKEGENE JR., 21, of Mt. Royal was arrested for shop lifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal $10.78 worth of items. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/05/10 SARA WADSWORTH, 24, of Barrington was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal $19.08 worth of merchandise. Through further investigation the accused was found to be in possession of CDS and a hypodermic needle. She was processed and released with a Superior Court date.

08/06/10 JULIE ANN TOMS, 21, of Runnemede was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through further investigation the accused was found to have an active warrant out of Gloucester City. She was processed and released with a new court date.

08/06/10 KRYSTLE LYNN RUSSELL,22, of Brooklawn, was stopped on Browning Road for having active warrants. She was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

08/07/10 TREVOR WILLIAM CALHOUN, 25, of Salem, while conducting a possible D.W.I. motor vehicle stop, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene in the vehicle. A Westville Police marked unit was sitting across the street witnessed what had occurred and attempted to stop the vehicle. A pursuit ensued with both Westville and Brooklawn units. The suspect driver took police on a brief pursuit onto Rt. 295 and exited on 16B. The suspect then drove into a field and fled from the scene on foot. A search of the area produced negative results. The suspect was later identified as Trevor William Calhoun, the suspect was charged and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

08/09/10 WALTER MARIANO SANDOVAL, 35, of Camden was at the United Check Cashing in Brooklawn a witness stated that the suspect Walter Sandoval was involved in a possible CDS transaction in the parking lot. Upon further investigation the accused was found to be in possession of 96 unknown pills, later identified to be Oxycodone. The accused was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/10/10 HARRY WILLIAM LEDDEN, 27, of Pittsgrove and ALYSSA NICOLE FELDMAN, 21, of Westville were both arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The couple enters the store together and attempted to conceal merchandise. Harry Ledden concealed $54.98 worth of clothing, while Alyssa Feldman removed her old sneakers from her person and put on a new pair valued at $19.99, and attempted to exit the store. Both parties were processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/10/10 KEITH STEWART DICKSON, 40, of Woodbury was arrested for shoplifting from the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal a box of Tylenol valued at $10.49. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/11/10 ERIC MATTHEW VASSALLUZZO, 24, of Gloucester City was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, and through an investigation was found to have an active warrant out of Haddon Township. He was processed and released with a new court date.

08/12/10 DANIELLE MARIE STRANO, 27, of Woodbury was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, and through further investigation was found to have active warrants for her arrest out of Woodbury, she posted partial bail and was released with a new court date.

08/13/10 MELISSA ANN LAVELL, 25, of Sewell was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal cans of baby formula valued at $40.47. 08/14/10 AMANDA CHRISTLE SODER, 30, of Gloucester City was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation the accused was found to have an active warrant out of Haddon Township. She was processed and released after posting full bail.

08/14/10 SANDRA LEE BURGLEIGH, 53, of Bellmawr was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal merchandise on her person valued at $34.77. She was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/14/10 KIMBERLY ELIZEBETH DESSERT, 22, of Bellmawr was observed on surveillance camera at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center, taking a purse out of a shopping cart. Through the investigation the suspect and the purse were located in Bellmawr. She was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/14/1 MICHAEL WILLIAM LAMBE, 30, of Somerdale was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal $78.97 worth of merchandise. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/15/10 MARK JERRY MASON, 42, of Bellmawr was stopped on Broadway for having active warrants out of Brooklawn. He was processed and released with a new court date.

08/19/10 THOMAS JACOB UIBEL, 22, of Gloucester City was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation the accused was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was issued multiple summonses, processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/21/10 TARA LINDSAY WATERS, 22, of Mt. Laurel was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation the accused was found to driving while intoxicated. She was issued multiple summonses, processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/23/10 CHAMAINE CRYSTAL SEIVERD, 27, of Mt. Royal was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal merchandise totaling $470.00. She was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

08/24/10 CRAIG ERIC JOHNSTON JR., 42, of Barrington was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through further investigation was found to have active warrants out of Washington Township. He was processed and released after posting partial bail, and given a new court date.

08/26/10 TARASHA JACKSON, 33, of Camden was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. The accused was highly intoxicated and squatted outside the passenger side door to urinate while the officer was speaking to the driver. She was then placed under arrest and processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/26/10 SEBASTIAN JAMES LEONARDO, 18, of Pennsauken was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused attempted to conceal Coricidin pills valued at $5.69. The accused was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

08/26/10 TYREE R. CLARK, 29, of Pennsauken, is being sought for a Strong Arm Robbery offense that occurred at the Days Inn Motel on Route 130. It is alleged that he forcibly removed a handbag from a female victim, who was a guest at the motel. The handbag contained approximately $13,700.00 in cash. The incident was (in part) captured on Video Surveillance cameras. An arrest warrant has been issued and he is considered a Fugitive from Justice.

08/27/10 JASON MICHAEL MOORE, 25, of Gloucester City overdosed while sitting in his vehicle in the Verchio’s parking lot. After passing out his foot slipped off the brake causing his vehicle to roll up on the embankment. The vehicle was also beginning to smoke, but the accused was pulled from the vehicle by a witness, before it caught on fire. He was transported to the hospital. The accused later came to the Brooklawn Police Headquarters to turn himself in. He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

 

JULY 2010

 

07/01/10 JESSICA LYNN RUNNER, 21, of Wenonah, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation she was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.  She was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/01/10 CHRISTOPHER BENJAMIN HUGHES, 25, of Brooklawn, attempted to gain entry into the Brooklawn Methodist Church by kicking in the rear door.  The suspect fled the area, but was caught a short time after by assisting officers.  He was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and criminal attempt.  He was processed and released pending a Superior Court date. 

07/02/10 WALTER BROWN WOODWARD 5TH, 26, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation was found to be wanted out of the Camden County Sheriffs Department.  He was brought back to headquarters, and released when the Camden County Probation Department received partial bail money. 

07/03/10 MARK JERRY MASON, 42, of Bellmawr, was arrested for having two outstanding warrants out of Brooklawn.  He was processed and released with a new court date.

07/03/10 A vehicle was stolen from the rear of the Carnival Book Store.  The vehicle, a 1997 Chevy Blazer, was recovered by Pennsauken Police on 07/13/10.  Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact the Brooklawn Police.

07/05/10 KEVIN TIMOTHY CLARK, 35, of Gloucester City was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal $170.76 worth of merchandise.  The accused also had a warrant out of Camden City.  Processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/07/10 DANIEL J. STOCKLIN, 28, of Deptford, struck and killed a Gloucester City woman who was riding a bicycle on New Broadway near the Chestnut Street intersection. After toxicology results were completed, it was determined that he had been driving while intoxicated (being 3 times over the legal limit). He was charged with Vehicular Homicide in the First Degree, as the crime occurred within 1000 feet of a school, and related motor vehicle offenses. He was lodged into the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $150,000.00 bail.

07/07/10 JAMES ROBERT SMALLS, 24, of Camden, was arrested for hindering, during an investigation at the Days Inn involving a stolen master key to the motel, the accused gave police wrong information about his identity.  He was processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.

07/09/10  EDWIN HUNTER HARDENMAN, 49, of Camden, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted the conceal $38.93 worth of merchandise in a basket and exit the store.  He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/10/10 KRYSTLE LYNN RUSSELL, 22, of Brooklawn, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal $119.35 worth of merchandise.  Processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/12/10 NICOLE RAINES, 23, of Wenonah, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  The accused provided officers with false information regarding her identity, she was also found to have a hypodermic needle in her possession.  Once back at the station the accused again provided officers with false information regarding identity.  Through investigation the officers were able to identify the accused.  She also had a warrant out of Harrison Twp.  She was remanded to the Women’s Correctional Facility in Gloucester County.

07/13/10 MICHAEL JAMES CANNING, 22, of Sicklerville, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal spider wire, knives, and pliers in his pants pockets.  He was processed and turned over to West Deptford Police for an active warrant.

07/14/10 MICHAEL ROBERT CHIRST JR., 28, of Brooklawn, was seen by the victim attempting to enter a vehicle by trying the car door handle, which was locked.  He was taken into custody where he was processed and released pending a Municipal Court date.

07/15/10 MICHAEL ROBERT CHIRST JR, 28, of Brooklawn, was observed by a witness smashing out windows to parked vehicles in the Metro Diner lower level parking lot.  The accused was taken into custody, processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.  The accused was charged with 3 counts of burglary and 3 counts of criminal mischief.

07/15/10 SCOTT MILES BREWER, 26, of Glendora, was arrested for disturbing the peace and good order by creating a disturbance outside of the Brooklawn Court Apartments.  He was processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/15/10 ERNEST RICHARD MITCHELL JR., 30, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation the driver of the vehicle was found to have an active warrant out of Berlin Twp.  Processed and released with a new court date.

07/17/10 LUIS ALBERTO MORA, 26, of Camden, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, the accused provided officers with false information.  The accused was arrested for hindering, he was brought back to the station where through further investigation officers where able to identify him.  He was given a Municipal Court date and released.

07/18/10 LAUREN ANNE DARAIO, 22, of Laurel Springs, was arrested for shoplifting from the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal a pair of earrings in a cigarette box.  She was brought to headquarters processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/26/10 SONDRA MARIE MEDALIA, 50, of Mount Ephraim, was arrested for shoplifting from the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to conceal magazines and a box of Exlax.  She was brought to headquarters processed and released with a Municipal Court date.

07/31/10 Officers were dispatched to the Days Inn for a report of an assault and robbery.  The victim was walking behind the Advanced Auto Parts parking lot when a black male wearing a red shirt and blue jeans came up from behind her.  The male grab the victim and pulled out a handgun stating “give me everything in your pockets”.  The victim fought off the suspect who hit her with the gun repeatedly, the suspect eventually gave up and left her lying on the ground.  The victim did not see were the suspect fled to.  Anyone with any information about this incident contact the Brooklawn Police.

07/31/10 JAMES ROBERT DORTON, 25, of Bellmawr, was stopped and questioned for a theft of a bicycle.  He was found to be wanted out of the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, and also to be in possession of a control dangerous substance.  He was brought to headquarters processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

JUNE 2010

 

06/03/10 WILLIAM EDWARD O'CONNOR, 47, of Westville was arrested at 3:28pm for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused attempted to take flowers from the outside of the store valued at $26.32.  He was brought back to headquarters processed and released pending a court date.

06/04/10 JAMES ARTHUR STEWART, 55, of Gloucester was stopped at 10:57am  for a motor vehicle violation.  Through further investigation the accused was found to be under the influence of intoxicated liquor or drugs.  The accused was brought back to headquarters where the breath test was performed and the accused blood alcohol content was 0.23%.  The suspect was processed and released, with a court date.

06/04/10 RICHARD JOSEPH REYES, 39, of Mantua was stopped at 11:21pm for a motor vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation, the accused was found to have numerous active warrants, in Woodbury and West Deptford.  The suspect was brought back to headquarters processed and posted partial bail.  He was released with a court date to be set.

06/06/10 KAREN LYNN WEBER-YULA, 47, of Woodbury was arrested at 3:59pm for drinking in public and disturbing the peace and good order by not listening to officers commands on scene.  She was brought to headquarters processed and then turned over to the Brooklawn EMS, who transported the suspect to Underwood Hospital.

06/08/10 TIFFANIE ANN COHEN, 23, of Brooklawn was arrested at 6:18pm for shoplifting from the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused concealed items into her purse totaling $36.53.  She was brought to headquarters where she was found to have active warrants.  She was processed and transported to the Camden County Jail.

06/10/10 CLARISEL NATALIA THOMPSON, 19, of Pennsauken was stopped at 3:42am for a motor vehicle violation in the rear of the Days Inn Parking Lot.  Through further investigation the suspect was found to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.  Also through investigation the suspect was found to be in possession of 70 bags of heroin.  She was brought back to headquarters processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

06/12/10 KRYSTLE LYNN RUSSELL, 22, of Brooklawn was involved in a one vehicle accident at 3:45am.  She was found to be driving while suspended and had numerous active warrants.  She was brought to headquarters processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

06/22/10 BRUCE WILLIAM WENNER, 31, of National Park and MARK LEE WELSH, 29, of Gloucester City  were observed at 8:34pm by a Rite Aid employee loading a shopping basket with numerous items valued at $150.00.  Both the accused then exited the store via the back emergency exit door.  They were later apprehended and brought to headquarters where they were processed and released pending a court date.

06/22/10 GEORGE JOSEPH JOHNSON JR., 25, of Glendora was arrested at 10:02pm for multiple shopliftings at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The suspect was brought back to headquarters processed and then transported to JFK Hospital Crisis for being suicidal.

06/26/10 Between 10:30pm and 9:20am 06/27/10 on the Days Inn parking lot, someone smashed out a passenger side window of a vehicle and took a GPS unit from inside it.  Anyone with information involving this incident or others like it contact the Brooklawn Police Department.

06/28/10 THOMAS MATTHEW STALLARD, 2ND, 22, of Bellmawr was arrested for stealing numerous pairs of earrings out of a locked display case in the Brooklawn K-Mart.  The accused was also charged with a similar shoplifting on 06/26/10, which was recorded on video surveillance.  The suspect was brought to headquarters processed and released pending a court date.

 

MAY 2010

 

05/10/10 DREW WILLIAM BUECHLEIN, 25, OF BROOKLAWN, officer's were dispatched to 16 Third Ave for a report of a burglary.  Drew Buechlein was identified as the suspect in the case.  A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was picked up shortly after the incident, he was charged with burglary and theft.  He was then transported to the Camden County Jail pending his court date.

05/10/10 NICOLE RAINES, 23, OF WENONAH, during an investigation involving multiple parties the suspect was found to have multiple warrants for her arrest out of Woodbury.  She was turned over to Woodbury Police.

05/11/10 MATTHEW ROBIN ELLIS, OF CLAYTON, during an investigation was found to have three warrants totaling $2,600.00 out of Camden and Gloucester City.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

05/13/10 ERIC ANTHONY ULAK, OF BROOKLAWN, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart at the Brooklawn shopping center.  The accused attempted to conceal $56.98 worth of merchandise.  He was processed and released with a municipal court date.

05/17/10 CHRISTIAN WALTER ORTHOLF JR., OF WOODBURY HEIGHTS, had a warrant out of West Deptford for a violation a a restraining order.  Officer's went to the suspect last known address and arrested the suspect for the violation.  He was then turned over to the West Deptford Police Department.

05/18/10 CHRISTINE MICHELLE DULANEY, OF BROOKLAWN, officer's were dispatched to the Brooklawn Food Mart for a theft.  The accused stole the victim's wallet from off the counter.  Through the store's video surveillance the officer was able to identify the suspect.  Christine Dulaney was arrested a short time later at her residence.  She was processed and released with municipal court date.

05/20/10 MATTHEW JOSEPH OBRIEN, OF BROOKLAWN, was stop for a motor vehicle violation, upon further investigation was found to have an active warrant out of Brooklawn in the amount of $335.00.  Accused was brought to headquarters processed and released with a new municipal court date.

05/22/10 TEKEYA TAMU ALLEN, OF CAMDEN, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through field sobriety tests it was determined the accused was driving while intoxicated.  She was transported back to headquarters processed and released to with a municipal court date.

05/22/10 TIMOTHY ANDREW SIMONS, OF WILLIAMSTOWN, officer's were dispatched to the Brooklawn Diner for a male suspect that was extremely intoxicated and  throwing wood posts around the parking lot.  The suspect was arrested for disturbing the peace and good order.  He was processed and released with a municipal court date.

05/25/10 TARA LYNN MEGLINO-HAGY, OF HADDONFIELD, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  She attempted to conceal numerous DVD's valued at $242.89.  She was processed and released pending a Superior Court date.

05/26/10 BRUCE DAVID SHENDOCK, OF WESTVILLE, officer's were dispatched to the Citgo Gas Station on Rt.130 in Brooklawn for an unconscious male in a truck.  The male, Bruce Shendock, overdosed on heroin and was transported to Virtua Hospital in Camden by Gloucester City's EMT's.  The accused was charged with possession of CDS, possession of a hypodermic needle, and failure to surrender CDS. 

05/27/10 JOHNATHAN CARLYE UNRUH, OF PHOENIXVILLE, PA, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through an investigation was found to be wanted out of the Camden County Sheriff's Department for child support.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

04/01/10 - GREGORY DEAN RADFORD, 40, OF MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN WAS ARRESTED IN THE BROOKLAWN SHOPPING CENTER FOR RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY.  THE SUSPECT WAS IN POSSESSION OF A STOLEN TRACTOR/TRAILER AND ITS CARGO.  IT WAS REPORTED STOLEN IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN.  HE WAS PROCESSED AND REMANDED TO THE CAMDEN COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY IN DEFAULT OF BAIL.

04/02/10 - MICHAEL TYRON LEE JR., 27, OF WOODLYNNE, WAS ARRESTED FOR LEWDNESS, RESISTING ARREST, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE AND MULTIPLE OTHER OFFENSES ON THE DAYS INN LOT.  THE SUSPECT WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROL DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE, AND HAD TO BE SPRAYED WITH CAP STUN TO BE DETAINED.  HE WAS PROCESSED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER BEING ISSUED HIS SUMMONSES AND COURT DATE.

04/06/10 - JOANN MARGARET GIESEN, 51, OF MT. EPHRAIM, WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AT THE RITE AID IN BROOKLAWN.  THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE ITEMS WAS $25.67, SHE WAS BROUGHT BACK TO HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE.

04/07/10 - JOSEPH BARRY BRYAN JR., 35, OF MERCHANTVILLE, WAS STOPPED FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATION, THROUGH AN INVESTIGATION THE ACCUSED WAS FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS, ALSO THE ACCUSED WAS FOUND TO HAVE AN ACTIVE WARRANT OUT OF BARRINGTON FOR $600.00.  BROUGHT BACK TO HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AFTER POSTING PARTIAL BAIL.

04/07/10 - OFFICERS WERE INFORMED OF A SITUATION ON THE ALICE COSTELLO SCHOOL BASKETBALL COURTS.  TWO JUVENILE'S WERE ATTEMPTING TO SELL MARIJUANA.  THE TWO JUVENILE'S WERE LOCATED AND BROUGHT TO HEADQUARTERS WERE THEIR GUARDIANS WERE CALLED AND INFORMED OF THE SITUATION, BOTH PARTIES LEFT WITH PENDING COURT DATES.

04/09/10 - EDWARD LEWIS POWELL, 42, OF BROOKLAWN WAS ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING A FINAL RESTRAINING ORDER VIA THE PHONE.  ACCUSED TURNED HIMSELF IN AND WAS REMANDED TO THE CAMDEN COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.      

04/09/10 - SUSAN RETHA SCOTT, 51, OF BELLMAWR WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AT THE SHOP RITE IN THE BROOKLAWN SHOPPING CENTER.  THE ACCUSED ATTEMPTED TO CONCEAL $16.55 WORTH OF ITEMS.  SHE WAS BROUGHT TO HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE.

04/09/10 - SUSAN LYNN ECKERT, 30, OF PAULSBORO, WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AT THE SHOP RITE IN THE BROOKLAWN SHOPPING CENTER.  THE ACCUSED ATTEMPTED TO CONCEAL $20.63 WORTH OF ITEMS.  SHE WAS BROUGHT TO HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE.

04/11/10 - CLARKIYA NAT'E WILSON, 26, OF CAMDEN, WAS STOPPED FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATION.  THROUGH FURTHER INVESTIGATION ACCUSED HAD AN ACTIVE WARRANT OUT OF HADDON TOWNSHIP FOR $500.00.  SHE WAS PROCESSED AND RELEASED AFTER POSTING PARTIAL BAIL.

04/16/10 - MICHAEL SCOTT BESCHEN, 36, OF GIBBSBORO, WAS ARRESTED FOR THEFT AND HARASSMENT AT THE DAYS INN.  THE SUSPECT WAS LOCATED IN THE WOODS BEHIND THE DAYS INN WHERE HE WAS STAYING.  THE SUSPECT TOOK HIS GIRLFRIENDS BAG AND TEXT MESSAGE HER REPEATEDLY.  THE SUSPECT ALSO HAD NUMEROUS WARRANTS, HE WAS BROUGHT TO HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND REMANDED TO THE CAMDEN COUNTY COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.

04/20/10 - BRENDA DIANE FOSTER, 43, OF GLOUCESTER CITY, WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AT THE K-MART IN THE BROOKLAWN SHOPPING CENTER.  THE SUSPECT ATTEMPTED TO CONCEAL $56.97 WORTH OF ITEMS.  THE SUSPECT WAS BROUGHT TO HEADQUARTERS AND RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE.

04/27/10 - DAVID ANTHONY HANRATTY, 30, OF GLOUCESTER CITY, WAS ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING AT THE RITE AID STORE IN BROOKLAWN.  THE ACCUSED WAS ATTEMPTING TO CONCEAL $151.00 WORTH OF ITEMS.  HE FLED THE STORE AND WAS ARRESTED IN GLOUCESTER CITY FOR A SEPARATE INCIDENT.  HE WAS THEN BROUGHT TO OUR HEADQUARTERS PROCESSED AND REMANDED TO THE CAMDEN COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.

 

MARCH 2010

 

03/02/10 - NICOLE M. BRUCE, 29, of Collingswood, attempted to obtain CDS by fraud at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, by providing Rite Aid with a fraudulent prescription.  This is a crime of the third degree.  On 03/05/10, she was charged with obtaining CDS by fraud, and sent a summons in the mail with a CJP court date.

03/02/10 - DENISE MARIE LAUTE, 47, of Gloucester City, was arrested for concealing numerous items inside K-Mart.  The total value being $195.00 the accused was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Gloucester City.  She posted bail and was released with a municipal court date.

03/04/10 - JAMES WALTER RICH, 29, of Haddon Heights, was involved in an altercation at the Days Inn.  He left on foot and was found on Rt. 130 South.  The accused was found to have active warrants totaling $3,000.00.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

03/04/10 - MICHELE L. MARINER, 28, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart at the Brooklawn shopping center.  The suspect concealed items totaling $77.94.  The accused left the store before the loss prevention officer could detain her, after she was positively identified a summons was issued to her in the mail, with a municipal court date. 

03/04/10 - KATERI TEKAWITHA HENNESSEY, 44, of Camden City, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn shopping center.  The total value of the items taken was $278.22.  The suspect was processed and released with a CJP court date.

03/04/10 - KELLY LYNN ATHANASIADIS, 29, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, through an investigation the suspect was found to be a wanted person out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department.  She was brought to headquarters processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Correction Facility for Women.

03/05/10 - LUKE MICHAEL GARBIN, 46, of Blackwood, was arrested for concealing two MP-3 players in his jacket at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn shopping center totaling $69.98.  He was processed and released with a municipal court date.

03/06/10 - THOMAS GIRARD LEE, 50, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn shopping center.  The suspect was also found to be a wanted person out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department.  He was processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Jail.

03/06/10 - LAURA JEAN MAGUIRE, 40, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting $56.89 worth of items from the K-Mart in the Brooklawn shopping center.  She was processed and released with a municipal court date.

03/08/10 - JERRY ANDREW GRIFFITH JR., 21, of Gloucester City, was arrested for domestic violence simple assault.  The suspect punched his girlfriend in the face and bite her on the arm.  The accused was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

03/11/10 - RICHARD JAMES STONE, 43, of Westville, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Through an investigation by the officer on scene the accused was found to be a wanted person out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department for a Probation violation for Violent Offenses.  He was arrested without incident.  The accused was processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Jail.

03/12/10 - JOSEPH CARMINE ROSHINKO, 30, of Bellmawr, was involved in a motor vehicle accident while under the influence of alcohol.  The suspect was brought back to the station where his Blood Alcohol Content was 0.13%.  No injuries were involved with the accident.  The suspect was processed and released with accordance to John’s law and given a municipal court date. 

03/16/10 - DAMIAN CAMPIS-FLORES, 18, of Westville, was arrested for shoplifting at the K-Mart in the Brooklawn shopping center.  The total value of the items was $119.99.  The accused was processed and released with a municipal court date.

03/20/10 - JAY GLENN MONTGOMERY 3RD, 36, of Westville, was in Room 127 at the Days Inn when the police were called to the room for a disturbance.  The accused was arrested for obstruction and then resisted arrest.  The accused was processed and released with a municipal court date.

03/22/10 - AMY LYNN BABBIT, 30, of Sicklerville, was a missing person and was found staying in the Days Inn in Broooklawn. The accused was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was processed and released with a municipal court date.

03/23/10 - MARCUS ELLIOT ROUNDTREE, 21, of Woodbury, was in the area of Shop Rite when a 911 received a call of a bomb in the Shop Rite building.  This was the second time the suspect was in the area when Shop Rite received a bomb threat.  Through our investigation the suspect admitted to being the caller of the bomb threat.  He was processed and released with a CJP court date.

03/27/10 - CHARLES WILLIAM GOULD, 27, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, and through investigation was found to be a wanted person out of the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

 

FEBRUARY 2010


02/01/10 JERMAINE ALLEN WILLIAMS, 31, of Paulsboro, was arrested for shoplifting from the Rite Aid Pharmacy. Mr. Williams attempted to conceal $89.35 worth of baby formula. He was processed and given a summons for a municipal court date.

02/01/10 AMBER LEAN LEE, 20, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Upon further investigation, the accused was found to have active warrants and was in possession of CDS. She was processed and released with a municipal court date.

02/02/10 NICOLE M. BRUCE, 28, of Collingswood, filled out a fraudulent prescription at the Rite Aid Pharmacy. She was charged with obtaining CDS by fraud and given a CJP court date.

02/04/10 DAMIAN SCOTT, 28, of Bellmawr, was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was stopped for a violation. Through an investigation, the accused was found to have active arrest warrants out of Camden City. The accused was processed and release with a new court date.

02/05/10 ROBERT DEWECHTER, JR., 18, of Gloucester City, was arrested for disturbing the peace after renting a room at the Red Carpet Inn which was then used for an underage drinking party. He was processed and released with a municipal court date.

02/05/10 STEVEN LEO CARR, 18, of Gloucester City, was at the underage drinking party at the Red Carpet Inn and through investigation was found to be in possession of CDS; believed to be marijuana under 50 grams. Processed and released pending a municipal court date.

02/05/10 MELISSA ANNE PRATT, 18, of Gloucester City, was arrested at the Red Carpet Inn after police observed numerous bags of marijuana and packaging material in plain view in her purse while police investigated an underage drinking party. Accused was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Processed and released with a CJP court date.

02/11/10 EMILY LYNN BOND, 33, of Camden City, was a subject of an investigation in regards to smash and grab burglaries and thefts. She was found to have active warrants totaling $12,439.00 out of the City of Camden and one warrant issued by Jersey City, NJ. Processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

02/11/10 JOHN DANIEL CORSON JR., 27, of Westville, was a subject of an investigation of smash and grab burglaries and thefts. He was found to have active warrants out of Camden City, Westville, and Monroe totaling $865.00. Suspect was processed and released, with new court dates.

02/11/10 RAYMOND A. WILKINSON, 40, of Westville, was arrest for committing a smash and grab burglary and theft at The China House Restaurant in the Brooklawn Shopping Center. The accused was processed and posted partial bail.

02/15/10 JALEESA JACQUELINE WHITE, 18, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite. The accused attempted to conceal $48.21 worth of food items in her handbag. She was processed and given a municipal court date.

02/18/10 ESTHER MARIE LOPEZ, 40, of Camden City, was arrested for shoplifting from K-Mart. The accused attempted to conceal $157.29 worth of merchandise. She was processed and released with a municipal court date.

02/20/10 TIMOTHY JOHN LEONARD, 29, of Bellmawr, was arrested for shoplifting from K-Mart. The accused attempted to conceal $219.91 worth of Wii video games. He was processed and released with a CJP court date.

 

JANUARY 2010

 01/05/2010 RONALD RAHIEM HAWKINS, 33, of Bellmawr NJ, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. The accused provided false information to police.  Through investigation, the accused was found to have active warrants.  He was brought to police headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

01/05/2010 ELWOOD WILLY LAWENCE, 35, of Camden City NJ, was arrested for concealing $83.95 worth of merchandise from K-Mart.  Accused was processed and released pending a Municipal Court Date.        

01/08/2010 NICOLE MARIE GIBELYOU, 34, of Runnemede, was arrested for concealing $282.87 worth of merchandise from Shop Rite.  Accused was also found to have an active warrant out of Camden City for $740.00. Suspect posted bail and was released pending a CJP court date.

01/09/2010 STEVEN JOSEPH GROOVER, 24, of Gloucester City, was arrested when officers responded to the Weber’s Drive-In for alarm activation.  The rear wooden doors were forced opened and entry was made into the kitchen. A search of the area was conducted and the suspect was located on Rt. 130 by the Carnival Book Store.  The suspect was found to have multiple burglar tools in his possession.  He was arrested and transported back to police headquarters.  Through further investigation, the suspect was found to be wanted out of Gloucester County for an indictable shoplifting.  Bail was set and the suspect was remanded to the Gloucester County Jail.  

01/10/2010 KIMBERLY JOANNE BEEBE, 24, of Gloucester City, was arrested for theft of movable property from K-Mart.  The thefts started on 11/24/2009 and ending on 01/10/2010 with the total value at $2,032.95.  She was processed and released pending a CJP court date.

01/11/10 KRISTEN LYNN NICHOLS, 54, of Barrington, was arrested for shoplifting from the Shop Rite in the Brooklawn Shopping Center.  The accused concealed $107.92 worth of merchandise.  She was processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.

01/12/10 DWAYNE MICHEAL HIRD, 59, of Camden City NJ, was arrested for shoplifting $80.46 worth of merchandise from K-Mart.  The suspect was also found to have active warrants for his arrest.  He was processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail.

01/17/2010 RICKY JAMES CLAIR, 27, of Verga NJ, was arrested when officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Marne Road for a possible intoxicated person.  Ricky Clair was arrested for criminal mischief and outstanding warrants.  The suspect was brought back to police headquarters processed and released.  Later the suspect’s vehicle was found to be stolen out of Westville. Charges were signed and mailed to the suspect with a new CJP court date.

01/21/2010 Multiple car burglaries were found by officers and reported by owners on the night of the 21st of January into the morning of the 22nd.  A total of 19 vehicles were burglarized. The same offences occurred in surrounding jurisdictions.  Two juvenile’s were brought in for questioning and eventually charged. The investigation is still ongoing.

01/22/2010 At approximately 6:05 pm, officers were at police headquarters when a juvenile girl came in and reported an attempted luring.  The girl was on Haakon Rd when a male (unknown race) in his mid 20’s wearing a dark colored baseball hat and dark jacket, in a small black pick up truck attempted to lure the girl by stating that her father had broken his leg and was in the hospital. Knowing that her father was home, she ran for help.  Area search of the area came up negative.

01/22/2010 MARK JERRY MASON, 42, of Bellmawr NJ, was arrested when officers were dispatched to the United Methodist Church for a reported burglary.  The suspect was found on the Brooklawn Diner parking lot.  He was brought to headquarters and processed and remanded to the Camden County Jail on numerous warrants.

01/25/2010 RAYMOND SABASTIAN MUHLBAIER, 31, of Blackwood, was stopped by an officer for fictitious tags.  Through an investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of 3 bags of heroin.  He was brought back to headquarters, processed and released with a municipal court date.

01/26/2010 MARK ANTHONY HIGGINBOTHAM, 44, of Bellmawr was a passenger on a motor vehicle stop. By use of a Gloucester City K-9 Officer, the accused was found to be in possession of 11 bags of cocaine.  The driver, Mary Rebyak and Mark Higginbotham were brought back to headquarters and both were charged with possession of CDS.  Mark was remanded to the Camden County Jail.  Mary was released with a CJP court date.

12/07/09 Jeffrey Founds, of Philadelphia, was arrested after leaving the Brooklawn Rite Aid without paying for several packs of razors that he concealed in his sweatshirt. Founds was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending municipal court date.

 

12/09/09 Arthur Osborn, of Mt Ephraim, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn ShopRite without paying for merchandise he had concealed on his person valued at $26. Osborn was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

12/09/09 Joanne Gilkey, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation she was found to wanted out of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Dept. Gilkey was taken into custody processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Correctional Facility.

11/7/09 Raymond Dill, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for a pair of jeans that he concealed under the jeans he was wearing. Dill was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending municipal court date.

 

11/08/09 Jesse Meglio, of Gloucester, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation he was found to have an active warrants out of Camden. Meglio was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

11/21/09 Ronald Woods, of Philadelphia, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation he was suspected of driving while intoxicated. After poor field sobriety test Woods was taken into custody, during processing he produced a breath result of more than twice the legal limit. Woods was charged and released to a sober adult.

 

11/22/09 Cheryl Dolce, of Gloucester, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation she was found to have an active warrants out of Washington Twp and Bellmawr. Dolce was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

10/6/09 James Rothmiller, of Woodbury, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was suspected of driving while intoxicated. After poor field sobriety test results, Rothmiller was taken into custody, processed and subsequently released to a sober adult.

 

10/9/09 Christopher Weldon, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was found to have an active arrest warrant. Weldon was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

10/10/09 David Terry Jr., of Woodbury, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was suspected of driving while intoxicated. After poor field sobriety test results, Terry was taken into custody, processed and subsequently released to a sober adult.

 

10/15/09 Arthur Whitman Jr., of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn Rite Aid without paying for a bottle of allergy pills he had removed from the box and concealed on his person. Shierman was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending municipal court date.

 

10/16/09 Kenneth Santapau, of Westville, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was found to have an active arrest warrant. Santapau was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

10/31/09 Diane Olivieri, of Oaklyn, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn Kmart without paying for bottles of perfume she concealed in her purse. Olivieri was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending municipal court date.

9/01/09 Dona Dent, of Camden, was arrested after attempting to conceal numerous items in her purse in order to deprive the Brooklawn K Mart of $57 payment. Dent was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

9/02/09 Timothy Peters, of Bellmawr, was arrested after fleeing the Brooklawn K mart without paying for numerous cosmetic items he concealed on his person, valued at $89. Peters was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

9/18/09, Mark Mason, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to gain entry into the Brooklawn Methodist Church at 11:30 in the evening. Mason was transported police headquarters, charged and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5000 10% bail.

 

9/21/09 Lee Mobly, of Williamstown, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation he was found to have an active warrant out of Gloucester Twp. Mobly was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

9/21/09 Kelly Vagt, of Brooklawn, arrested after police received a call for prostitution acts in the area of the Carnival Book Store. A thorough investigation of the area found Vagt in the area of Advanced Auto, she was found to have an active warrant out of Woodbury. Vagt was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on her own recognizance.

 

9/25/09 William Rowland Jr., of Deptford, was stopped for after a random registration inquiry showed the registered owner (Rowland) was found to have an active warrant out of Cherry Hill. Rowland was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

9/26/09 Daniel Mc Call, of Gloucester, was banned from the Brooklawn ShopRite. Shortly thereafter he returned to the store and was advised again to leave, McCall became irate and threw an item he was holding in his hand. McCall arrested for Defiant Trespass, transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

9/30/09 Christine Warner, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for several items she concealed in her purse, valued at $114. Warner was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

8/02/09 Lawrence Brubaker of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K-Mart without paying for several video games he concealed on his person, valued at $140. Brubaker was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

8/03/09 Nicole D’Agustino of Brooklawn, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K-Mart without paying for jewelry that she had accessed by prying open the case, valued at $919. D’Agostino was also charged with enter her neighbors mailbox and stealing his Social Security check. She was transported topolice headquarters, charged and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

8/06/09 Mark Mason of Bellmawr was arrested after ordering $10.11 worth of food at Ponzio’s Restaurant, then leaving without paying. On his way out, he also stole $13, which was laying on one of the tables. Mason was transported to police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

8/10/09, Joseph Castaldi of Deptford, was arrested after police received a report of male sleeping in the gazebo off of Timber Blvd. Through further investigation, Castaldi was found to be wanted N.C.I.C. out of Gloucester County. He was processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Correctional Facility.

 

8/11/09 Amy Metzinger of Mt. Ephraim, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K-Mart without paying for several videos and a 19” TV, by walking out the front door with the items in a shopping cart. The items were valued at $382. Metzinger was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

8/19/09 James Morton of Turnersville, was arrested after police received a report of an unconscious person on the ground outside a red Mitsubishi at the Days Inn Motel. Through further investigation, Morton was found to be under the influence of heroin, in possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle. Morton was processed and released with a pending court date.

 

8/21/09 Burrell Dozier Jr. of Camden, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K-Mart without paying for a digital camera he concealed on his person. Dozier was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date. Dozier was also charged for giving the police false information.

 

8/26/09 George Milawski of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn  ShopRite without paying for numerous items he concealed on his person which were valued at $21. Milawski was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

8/26/09 Amber Capra of Runnemede, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, she was found to have an active arrest warrant from Audubon. Capra was taken into custody, processed and released after posted bail.

7/02/09 Michael Morgan, of Franklinville, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for the merchandise that he concealed on his person, valued at $121. Morgan was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

7/05/09 Chase Roehr, of Voorhees, was arrested after police responded to the parking lot of Geatano’s for the report of an unconscious male. After arriving it was determined that the male had overdosed on heroine. Roehr was treated and released by medical personnel and turned over to police. Roehr was charged and released with pending municipal court appearance.

 

7/07/09 Craig Nicholson, of Collingswood, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation, Nicholson was found to have numerous active warrants. Lynch was taken into custody where in a search incident to arrest was found to have a hypodermic needle in his possession. Nicholson was processed and released.

 

7/12/09 Rosa Reyes, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for the merchandise that she placed in a bag she was carrying, valued at $78. Reyes was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

7/12/09 Janine Ellis, of Paulsboro, was arrested for shoplifting after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for the merchandise that she had concealed on her person, valued at $198. Ellis was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

7/15/09 Robert Feltman, of Collinswood, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Feltman was found to have numerous active warrants. He was taken into custody, processed and released after posting over $1300 in bail.

 

7/17/09 Michael Neris, of Voorhees, was stopped, by police, while walking through Brooklawn. Through further investigation Neris was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody, transported to police headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.

 

7/17/09 Christopher Frisby, of Paulsboro, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Frisby was found to have an active warrant. He was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

7/22/09 Charles Bouillion, of Westville, was stopped by police after police received a call for a suspicious male looking into back yards in the area of New Jersey Rd.. Through further investigation Bouillion was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody, transported to police headquarters, processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

7/23/09 Abel Rodriguez, of Pennsauken, was arrested after he eluded police through several towns. Rodriguez was also operated his vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor or drug. He was processed and released to a sober adult with a pending superior court appearance.

 

7/24/09 Raymond Muhlbaier, of Blackwood, was arrested for shoplifting after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for the merchandise that he had concealed on her person, valued at $87. Muhlbaier was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

JUNE 2009

 

6/02/09 Robert Simon, of Thorofare, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation, Simon was found to have an active warrant out of Logan Twp. Simon was taken into custody where he was processed and released on his own recognizance.

 

6/03/09 Renee Ulak, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn ShopRite without paying for the merchandise that she placed in her purse, valued at $344.73. Ulak was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

6/06/09 Jenny Rossi, of Gloucester, was arrested for shoplifting after attempting to leave the Brooklawn Kmart without paying for the merchandise that she had concealed, valued at $344.73. Rossi was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

6/06/09 James Tarpley, of Paulsboro, was arrested after he was reported to be a suspicious person loitering in the area of the 300 block of Broadway. Through further investigation Tarpley was found to have an active warrant out of Longport. He was transported police headquarters, processed and released.

 

6/10/09 Michael Christ, of Brooklawn, was arrested for having an active warrant out of Deptford Twp. for burglarizing a vehicle in the Deptford Mall parking lot. Christ was transported to police headquarters, processed and turned over to Deptford where he was remanded to the Gloucester County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash bail.

 

6/11/09 Raymond Santiago, of Gloucester, was arrested after being stopped by the Gloucester City Police and found to be in possession of proceeds from 2 vehicle burglaries that occurred on the lower lot of Ponzio’s. Santiago was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

06/12/09 Justin Kiessling, of Oaklyn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Kiessling was found to have numerous warrants out of Oaklyn totaling $745. Kiessling was taken into custody, processed and released after posting bail.

 

6/13/09 Richard Pratt, of Gloucester, was stopped for suspicious activity to the rear of Brooklawn Court Apts. During the investigation Pratt identified himself as Chad Chaining, unable to confirm his identity Pratt was transported to police headquarters to identify him. Once in custody Pratt’s identity was confirmed and he was found to have an active warrant for $530. He was processed charged for hindering apprehension and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

 

6/19/09 David Roulston, of Bellmawr, was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a motor vehicle crash. After the crashed, Roulston exited the vehicle and attempted to hide three bags of heroin. Witnesses on scene informed police of his action and Roulston was taken into custody. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail on a warrant out of Camden.

 

6/27/09 Timothy Rutecki, of Blackwood, was the occupant in a suspicious vehicle parked in the rear of the KFC. After a brief investigation Rutecki was found to have $15000 dollars in outstanding warrants out of Florence and Mt. Laurel. Rutecki was taken into custody, transported to police headquarters, processed and turned over to Mt. Laurel for processing and incarceration in Burlington County Correctional Facility.

 

MAY 2009

 

5/01/09 Wanda Ivelisse, of Camden, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn K Mart without paying for the merchandise that she placed in a bag she was carrying, valued at $104. Ivelisse was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

5/02/09 Patrick Lynch, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation, Lynch was found to have numerous active warrants totaling $2050. Lynch was taken into custody where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

5/10/09 Rosemary Loveitt, of Bellmawr, was arrested after attempting to leave the ShopRite with numerous items that she failed to ring-up in the self-checkout line. Loveitt transported to police headquarters, processed, charged with shoplifting and released.

 

5/13/09 Michael Stradler, of Pennsville, was arrested for attempting to pass numerous bad checks, at the Rite-Aid, on an account that Stradler had closed in 1999. Stradler was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

5/15/09 Taurean Cleveland, of East Orange, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Cleveland was found to be a fugitive out of South Carolina. Cleveland was taken into custody, processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility to await extradition to South Carolina.

 

5/17/09 Ralph Branca, of Gloucester, was reported to be running in and out of traffic on Route 130. After locating Branca he was ran for warrants and found to have numerous totaling $2065. Branca was taken into custody and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

5/20/09 Amber Ignatius, of Woodbury, was arrested after she had taken a wallet that was left at her register while working. Ignatius was Charged and released with a pending municipal court appearance.

 

5/20/09 Elizabeth Prim, of Brooklawn, was arrested after she assaulted another female on the lot of the Taco Bell. Prim also engaged in a lewd act by exposing her breast to the victim while harassing her. Prim was transported to police headquarters, processed and released with a pending municipal court appearance.

 

5/25/09 Adam Dunn, of Gloucester City, was arrested for Burglary after he entered a residence on the 200 block of Browning Ln and stealing numerous items. Dunn was found at his girlfriend’s residence and transported to police headquarters where he processed with a pending Superior Court appearance.

 

 

APRIL 2009

 

4/05/09 an unknown person entered a residence on the 200 block of Broadway. While inside the residence the unknown person did steal several items of jewelry some specifically being a diamond necklace, two toggle link Tiffany chains and a Rolex watch. Anyone having knowledge of the incident please contact Captain Saymon Monday thru Friday.

 

4/14/09 Rene Lebron, of Camden, was the occupant of a reported suspicious vehicle. Through further investigation Lebron was found to have an active warrant out of Camden, he was taken into custody where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

4/17/09 Ronald Mitchell, of Erial, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation Mitchell was found to have an active warrant for  $750. Mitchell was taken into custody, processed, posted bail and was released.

 

4/18/09 Donald Bogus, of Brooklawn, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, Bogus was found to have active warrants totaling $755. Bogus was taken into custody where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

4/19/09 Dominic Flora, of Runnemede, was arrested for shoplifting after he was scene attempting to conceal a Nintendo Wii game system in order to deprive the owner of payment. Flora was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.

 

4/22/09 Candice McNaul, of Brooklawn, was arrested for receiving stolen property after she drove her stolen vehicle across the lot of and into the Brooklawn Flower Shop. McNaul was also operating the vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating substance. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released, to a sober adult, with a pending court date.

 

4/22/09 Chreshull Rivers, of Pensauken, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, Chreshull was found to have active warrants totaling $3000. He was taken into custody, processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

4/25/09 Smantha Gulite, of Sewell, was an occupant of a suspicious vehicle parked on the lot of Taco Bell. Through further investigation, Gulite was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and other drug paraphernalia, she was taken into custody, transported to police headquarters, processed and released with a pending court date. After being released Gulite was arrested an hour later for shoplifting at the Brooklawn K Mart.

 

4/26/09 Jeffrey Kaminski, of Westville, was stopped for being a suspicious person. Through further investigation, Kaminski was found to have an N.C.I.C. warrant for his arrest out of Gloucester County for violation of probation. He was taken into custody, processed and remanded to the Gloucester County Correctional Facility.

 

MARCH 2009     

3/05/09 Anthony Liquori, of Mantua, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn ShopRite without paying for the basket of baby formula, valued at $189, which he had in his possession. Liqouri was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

3/06/09 Michael Duer Jr., of Woodbury, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Duer was found to have an active warrant out of Deptford. Duer was taken into custody where he was processed and turned over to Deptford Twp.

 

3/08/09 Joseph Ledonne, of Bellmawr, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Ledonne was found to have numerous active warrants. Ledonne was taken into custody where he was processed and released on his own recognizance.

 

3/11/09 Matthew Depalma, of National Park, was the arrested after he was scene attempting to opening car doors on Browning Rd. Depalma was also in possession of Hypodermic needles, he was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.

 

3/14/09 Donald Van Horn, of Philadelphia, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Van Horn was found to have two active warrants. Van Horn was taken into custody where he was processed and released after posting $1200 bail.

 

3/17/09 Krysty Lee, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Lee was found to have numerous active warrants totaling $1851. Lee was taken into custody where she was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

3/19/09 Brandon Kersey, of Westville, after he was the occupant of a vehicle parked in the fire lane at the Brooklawn K Mart. The driver, Denina Mason of Westville, was inside the store shoplifting. Kersey was also found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. Both were arrested transported to police headquarters where Kersey was processed and released and Mason was turned over to Woodbury Police for an outstanding $1000 warrant.

 

3/24/09 Eva Marie McCallin, of Gloucester City, was arrested after she forged two checks that were stolen from her mother and attempted to cash them at Wachovia Bank of Brooklawn. McCallin was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released with a pending court date.

 

3/26/09 Arthur Ott, of Gloucester City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation; through further investigation Ott was found to have an active warrant to for $14,773. Ott was taken into custody where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

 

3/26/09 Jason Ripley, of Stratford, was arrested after attempting to leave the Brooklawn ShopRite without paying for the cart full of baby formula, valued at $486. Ripley was transported police headquarters, charged and released with a pending court date.

 

3/29/09 Gordon Laxton III, of Pennsville, was arrested after attempting to leave the ShopRite with bags of shrimp without paying. Laxtonhad had been on a crime spree at the ShopRite for approximately 3 weeks. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and charged with 5 separate counts of shoplifting and released.
